Fans love nothing more than a couple of celebrity couples who are friends. Since going public with her relationship with Travis Barker, Kourtney Kardashian seems to have become closer with Megan Fox, who is engaged to Travis’s friend and collaborator Machine Gun Kelly.
Kourtney reportedly married Travis in a ceremony following the 2022 Grammys, while Megan Fox is believed to be planning her nuptials with Kelly at the time of writing.
While the girls and guys are friends, do they actually go on double-dates as a group when the cameras are off? An insider revealed that the foursome do spend time together as a group, but not in the way that fans would guess. Are Megan Fox And Kourtney Kardashian Friends?
Megan Fox has been open about her admiration of Kourtney Kardashian, and her relationship with Travis Barker, who is close friends with her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly. The duo appeared together on stage at the 2021 VMAs where they introduced Kelly and Travis to the stage.
“New York, I need you to get extra loud for our future baby daddies,” Megan told the crowd, hinting that both couples may welcome children together in the future. However, Megan and Kelly reportedly want to wait to have kids together, as they’re enjoying the fun they’re having right now.
The friends also starred together in a campaign for Skims, a brand founded by Kourtney’s sister Kim Kardashian.
“I love that Skims really understands what women want to wear and that they want to feel sexy, confident and empowered,” Megan said in the press release for the campaign. “I loved being in this campaign with Kourtney, we had so much fun shooting together.”
The two have also posted pictures of one another on social media, both sharing snaps from their Skims photoshoot. “Kourt, forever isn’t long enough,” Megan wrote beneath her pics. Kourtney responded by writing, “This lifetime and the next.”
In a 2022 interview with Glamour, Megan shared how she feels about Kourtney and Travis as a couple, further highlighting her admiration for the reality star: “They’re magnetic. So nobody’s really interacting with them too much, because they’re just stuck. They’re stuck together like this (gesturing a magnetic attraction).”
Do Megan Fox And Kourtney Kardashian Double-Date?
Kourtney and Megan appear to be close, and so do their partners, Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker. But does that mean they go on double-dates?
An insider told Us Weekly that the couples do spend time together as a foursome.
“Travis has a recording studio in his house so him and MGK will jam out there a lot. Travis introduced Kourt to Megan through MGK,” the insider revealed. “As a group, they like to go on double dates, concerts, events together—it spices things up. Travis and MGK are happy Megan and Kourtney have gotten to bond and get along well with each other.”
As a group, the four stars have been spotted out together several times. Following the MTV VMAs in September 2021, the foursome had dinner at Cipriani Downtown in New York City.
“The group seemed calm, very relaxed,” said an eyewitness (via Us Weekly). “They were enjoying their time together as if they had no cares for the world. They looked like they just wanted to relax.”
In her interview with Glamour, Megan herself admitted that the group will sometimes do activities together, but they aren’t the type of double-dates that fans might have in mind.
“We’ve been to Vegas with them a couple of times and events and things like that. But we’re not going on picnics or road trips,” she told the publication.
Megan also shared that the reason the four of them don’t hang out more often is that it’s hard to coordinate their schedules with all of their children: “We don’t have a lot of double-dates. I mean, between all of us, there’s 900 kids!”
Kourtney has three children with ex Scott Disick: Mason (12), Penelope (9), and Reign (7). Travis has two biological children, Landon Asher (18) and Alabama Luella (15), and he remains close with his former step-daughter Atiana De La Hoya (22).
Megan shares three children with ex-husband Brian Austin Green: Noah Shannon (8), Bodhi Ransom (7) and Journey River (4). And Machine Gun Kelly has a daughter, Casie Colson Baker (12), whom he shares with ex Emma Cannon.
Megan Fox And Kim Kardashian’s Friendship
It seems that Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly also go on double-dates with Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson.
In an April 2022 interview, Kelly spoke about his friendship with Pete Davidson, revealing that he and Megan rented out a theater with Pete and Kim: “The short version is, we rented out a theater, me, Meg and Kim and Pete went to see this movie and I was vouching for this movie so hard, I was like ‘It’s gonna be the best movie you’ve ever seen.'”
However, the musician revealed, via CinemaBlend, that the date didn’t go exactly to plan, as the others weren’t as impressed by the film as he was hoping.
“I kept, like, leaning over, like even as the previews were starting, and I was like, ‘Just dude, I can’t wait, I can’t wait for you guys to watch.’ Dude, we got ten minutes into the movie – you ever have that moment where you’re like, ‘We shouldn’t be here?’”
Given that Kim featured Megan in her Skims campaign with Kourtney, it seems likely that the two are on good terms too.
