Although it is very entertaining, some reveals on The Masked Singer have disappointed fans. In addition, we've seen some awkward moments that even Nick Cannon himself could not repair. One in particular saw a contestant break the rules and basically eliminate themselves.

The person proceeded to ghost the show following his walk-off, which really shouldn't surprise many given his history in Hollywood.

In the following, we'll take a look back at that moment, while also featuring some of the other moments that were not well-received by the fans. Despite the hiccup for Nick Cannon, it seems like things are just fine with the contestant that walked off given that the two are about to star in a project together. Throughout its history, The Masked Singer has endured some tough performances. Among the list includes Antonio Brown, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Sarah Palin, and perhaps the person we'll see a little later in the article that ended up breaking the rules...

However, perhaps among the very worst ever might be Rudy Guiliani. Appearing as the Jack in the Box, Rudy managed to rub the judges the wrong way, while fans weren't pleased of his involvement either. FOX had to issue a statement regarding the moment, but did not regret anything that took place.

Rob Wade, the president of alternative entertainment & specials at Fox Entertainment said, "Yeah, absolutely no regrets."

“The marketing is all about delivering jaw dropping moments, which is exactly what the casting accomplished. And whether it was on set or with the viewers at home I suppose my only regret or surprise was obviously the reveal was spoiled [by the press], but kudos to you guys. Just please don’t do it again. Thanks a lot.”

Speaking of controversial moments, this had fans and the judges completely confused and shocked.

Mickey Rourke Cut Ties With The Masked Singer And Randomly Took Off His Costume After A Performance

“We’ve lost control. This is a Masked Singer first– we didn’t get to vote, the other people didn’t get to come out.”

Nick Cannon said it best. You can see the host struggling, as Rourke hints he's going to take off his suit given that he was hot. Then, the actor decided to take off the mask, and basically ends his time on the show without being eliminated. Leaving on his own terms, Rourke left the judges and audience in complete shock.

He said during the moment, "I watched four episodes and they asked if I’d be interested so I watched from the very beginning and all that s***.”

Following his exit from the show, Rourke was against doing any type of press or interviews. It was clearly a major letdown for the show seeing how things unfolded. The moment can be seen in the video below.

Despite the controversial exit, fans still had nothing but praise for the actor.

"I've always loved this man.He knows how to make an entrance an exit and a come back I love you Mickey."

Another fan disses Rourke's singing skills, but admires him for trying. "Classic Mick. Living his own life. Cant sing but mate, full marks for trying. Respect."

It seems like there are no hard feelings between Cannon and Rourke given that the two are set to collaborate together once again.

According to Indie Wire, Mickey Rourke, Nick Cannon, Alec Baldwin and Tara Reid are all teaming up for the comedy, Hollywood Heist. The announcement was made after Baldwin's Rust charges were officially dropped.

Indie Wire writes about the project, “Hollywood Heist” marks Mike Hatton’s feature directorial debut, and follows a power agent (Cannon) who is trying to land an actor (Baldwin) by telling him that a movie producer (Hatton) and washed up actor (Paul Sloan) are trying to save their production after their bank account was robbed. Real-life producer Asko Akopyan is portrayed by actor Arman Nshanian."

At the time of the announcement, Mickey Rourke was once again in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, praising Roman Polanski while on set of The Palace.

“You know, working with the man who’s been in a film business nearly 60 yrs you can always learn something new. I usually do not have conversations with most directors but Roman Polanski is not just another director. God bless the man, I can’t wait to do another film with him.”
