Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne gave Nick Cannon their blessing to take over hosting duties on the reality game show Beat Shazam, which recently aired its Season 6.

Recently, Jamie Foxx was seen for the first time since having his medical incident. The 55-year-old was recently spotted on a boat traveling along the Chicago River. It was his first public appearance since being hospitalized two weeks ago.
His daughter told People that the actor is "doing well," after experiencing medical complications. "He is just taking it easy. He's not really having any visitors or anything like that yet but he's doing really really well," the source says, following Foxx's appearance on the water.
The actor appeared in the movie They Clone Tyrone alongside John Boyega, which was released after he was hospitalized. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor has spoken about being in contact with his co-star.
“He finally picked up the phone. Thank you, bro,” John Boyega told People at the premiere of the Netflix movie. “He's doing well. And then, you know, we just giving him the privacy, and we can't wait for his return."
“I gave him the well wishes directly,” Boyega said being adding kind words. “I gave him all the well wishes. So I'm just gonna be waiting until he comes back out here. So take your time, Jamie. We love you, bro.”
Datari Turner, who co-produced the movie alongside Foxx, echoed Boyega's positivity, even suggesting that the actor, singer and host could be returning to work soon.
"He's doing amazing. I promise you. Doing really, really good," he on the red carpet. "[Director] Juel [Taylor] talked to him yesterday. John Boyega talked to him yesterday. He's in really, really good shape and spirits. And he'll be back on the screen. He'll be back to work very soon."
