The heiress with "legs for days" has been quite occupied these days, much like her sister, Paris Hilton, who now has her own show on the Netflix streaming platform. The difference between the two wealthy sisters is that Nicky has her hands full with her children. The proud mama shares two daughters, Theodora "Teddy" Marilyn and Lily-Grace Victoria with her husband, James Rothschild.
Although she remains under the radar, Hilton isn't only on mother duty, she's also in the fashion industry as she works as a designer. Considering her field of work and fame, Hilton and her hubby do an impeccable job at remaining low-key. Nicky and James - who's the grandson of the third Baron Rothschild - had married back in 2015 in a lavish ceremony that took place at Kensington Palace. Now that they have their own little picture-perfect family, we can't help but wonder what their year has been like - what have they been doing to keep busy during the pandemic?
Here's what you need to know!
7 The Malibu Life
While some of us have not visited the rest of the world - or moved from our couches - Nicky Hilton, her hubby and two fashionista daughters have been strutting the streets of sunny Malibu. The girls definitely get their street style from their mama!
The pair, who do not hide their children from the paparazzi, have been spotted on more than one occasion out and about on family outings. Their tight-knit bond is evident and admirable. Plus, the Rothschild family look fabulous while doing so!
6 Home Sweet Home
For many, the pandemic gave them the opportunity to spend more with their loved ones. For others, it forced them to spend time apart.
In the Rothschild household, Hilton was juggling working from home while home-schooling the married couple's older daughter. Residing in Manhattan when the coronavirus hit New York City, they made the decision to relocate to Long Island and quarantine in their Brookhaven home. It was in the best interest of the entire family.
In an interview with New York Times, Mrs. Rothschild admitted that quarantine blessed them with the quality family time they needed. She explained, "Just being together as a family is nice. My husband and two daughters have breakfast, lunch and dinner together every single day."
5 Baking 101
When the pandemic hit, flour could not be found in any grocery stores! Yes, everyone suddenly became bakers - including Hilton, Rothschild, and the mini versions of them.
In an interview with Footwear News, Hilton spoke of how she and her beau spent time with their daughters when all at home together. To keep them entertained, they took up baking and binged on a whole lot of Disney films. That's what we like to call #familygoals! Is there room for us to join in on the sweet fun?
4 Parents Off-Duty
These deserving parents got to take some time off from dirtying their hands with their children alas!
Now married for six years, the parents-of-two decided to schedule a date night for themselves and headed over to Malibu to enjoy a romantic dinner.
According to Daily Mail, Nicky and James Rothschild dressed up casually as they dined oceanside at Nobu. The happy couple got to relax and spend quality time together after what's been a hectic year. They've also been previously spotted strolling hand-in-hand on the streets of New York City, just the two of them.
3 Family Dates
Dates aren't only meant for couples and adults - dates can be for the entire family, just like the Rothschild bunch do!
Nicky, who's a respectable fashion icon and designer, stepped out on the bustling streets of NYC with her pastel pink Chanel ensemble, husband and stylish daughters. Making the most of family time, the socialite mother and papa dearest made Lily and Teddy's day a sweet one by treating them to cupcakes at the Little Cupcake Bakeshop in the SoHo neighborhood. What a delicious treat!
2 Celebrate Good Times
The British financier and Hilton had something special to celebrate during the pandemic!
On July 10th of 2020, the "crazy in love" couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. Although Hilton and Rothschild couldn't do anything to celebrate the memorable day, it was shared with the world in another way. Hilton Rothschild commemorated their special day by posting a throwback photo of the day they said "I do" to her 'gram. No cheesy or long caption was needed by the hotel heiress - a picture speaks a thousand words.
1 La Bella Vita
What sounds better than wine, pasta and the ocean?
Many of us haven't been fortunate enough to travel since last year, but Hilton and the family recently ditched the streets of Manhattan for the picturesque and scenic sun-dappled Italy. And besides making all her followers drool daily because of her constant posting of Italian food to her IG Stories, she also shared a photo of the couple all cleaned up in very fancy attire. A date night in Capri? That's amore!
