In a recent post to Instagram, Nicole seemingly paid tribute to her mother-in-law by wearing a Posh Spice t-shirt (Victoria got her start as a part of the Spice Girls). “London times,” Nicola captioned the photo alongside a lipstick emoji.
Victoria responded to the post with a sweet comment, further putting aside rumors of a feud. "Love this on u!!! kisses x,” she wrote.
Previously, there were allegations that Victoria wasn’t a fan of Nicola, as the two butt heads. Leading up to Nicola and Brooklyn’s wedding, there were claims that Victoria, now a fashion designer, was upset that Nicola didn’t want to wear one of her creations as a wedding dress.

Nicola later addressed the rumors, saying there was a simple reason for why she didn’t wear a dress designed by Victoria. "I was going to [wear her design] and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn't do it, so then I had to pick another dress,” she said. “She didn't say you can't wear it; I didn't say I didn't want to wear it.”
Nevertheless, while Nicola may be adamant all is well with her mother-in-law, she hasn’t addressed recent reports that things are tense between her and Brooklyn.
Nicola Told Brooklyn She’d Leave Him Under Specific Circumstances
Earlier this month, Victoria and David Beckham’s new documentary Beckham released on Netflix, which touches on David’s cheating allegations in the early 2000s.
David’s personal assistant, Rebecca Loos, claimed they had an affair in 2003, and went to the media the following year to publicize the allegations in an interview. She recently spoke out following the documentary’s release in which she says she stands by her initial claims.
Apparently, seeing what her in-laws went through early in their marriage freaked Nicola out, and made her clarify to Brooklyn that she wouldn’t stick around if placed in the same situation.
“She told Brooklyn in no uncertain terms that she’d never tolerate cheating,” a source told Heat Magazine. “For her, it would mean the end of the marriage and she’d never be able to rebuild that trust.”
“In the Netflix doc, it’s evident how absolutely in love and devoted to each other Victoria and David were as a young couple, just like she and Brooklyn are, and yet they still went through that tough period,” the insider continued. “For the first time, she’s understanding that you can be in love, but that doesn’t guarantee life won’t throw shit in your direction.”
“Nicola wants to be very clear on her expectations. Once the line is crossed, that’s it. For her, it’s about respect, trust and pride,” they concluded.
