Later that year in 2020, the pair also got engaged, a clear sign of their commitment to one another. While the young couple is often in the glaring eye of the public, the two clearly have no trouble displaying their love for one another. In fact, they got married in early 2022. But that doesn't mean Nicola thinks her hubby is the best-suited to a role in her new film.

Nicola Peltz Has Starred In Many Films

Nicola Peltz has built an incredibly successful career for herself as an actress, starring in films such as Bates Motel, Batman, Back Roads, and Deck The Halls, as well as becoming best-known for her role in Katara in The Last Airbender and Bradley Martin in the A&E drama series Bates Motel.

Originally from New York, her pursuit into the world of acting began when Peltz was just eleven years old when she landed her first-ever role in the 2006 Christmas comedy movie Deck the Halls".

This role set her up to land a string of largely successful roles off the back of it, including her first-ever stage debut in "Blackbird" (2007) at the Manhattan Theatre.

Peltz only began to gain significant recognition after starring in Transformers: Age of Extinction in 2014 — a movie that was a blockbuster hit.

Thanks to her incredibly successful career as an actress, Peltz has managed to amass a hefty net worth, which is estimated to sit at around $50 million. This is, admittedly, a small fortune when compared to her father's net worth, which is reportedly in the billion-dollar range.

According to Deadline, the movie is set in 2002 and will follow a young 19-year-old Lola as she fights to save her little brother from their toxic home. The young teen is set to face struggles along the way, including a personal battle with drug addiction, alongside another 'tragic' event that has yet to be revealed.

Nicola Decided Brooklyn's Acting Skills Weren't Up To Par

When it comes to online couples, Beckham and Peltz have certainly been the talk of the town. However, despite seeming inseparable on social media, many fans have been left wondering if Beckham will be starring in his wife's new movie.

A recent interview with The Sunday Times Style reveals Peltz's final decision and her reasoning behind it. In the interview, she explains how Brooklyn originally approached her asking to be in the movie, however, his acting skills weren't quite up to par for him to be considered for the final cut.

Explaining the situation, she stated: he was like, 'Can I be in your movie?' And I was like, 'Oh my gosh, I would be honoured, but we have to disguise you. Obviously he's covered in tattoos and he's British. So, he did a few parts in the background, which if you pay attention, you can find, but in one scene he's like, 'Can I put the mic on? I wanna say a line.'"

According to Peltz, he just didn't quite fit the role: "I started laughing so hard. He had the most British accent ever. I ended up cutting him out! He sat there, in the editing room, he was like, 'Did you really just cut me out while I'm sitting here?'. . . I was like, 'Yes, I love you so much!'"
