North And Chicago West Release Their First Song

One of the biggest names in reality TV history is none other than Kim Kardashian. When she went on to marry Kanye West, the pair created one of the most famous families in celebrity history.

Recently, it seems that two of their kids are branching out into the music world, following in the footsteps of their father. So what do fans have to say about the next generation of music makers in the West family?

Chicago And North West Released Their First Single

Kim and Kanye's daughters, North and Chicago, recently put out their first song with the rapper Yuno Miles. The track is called "BOMB" and features a rather strange music video to accompany it. In the video, the girls appear in Cybertruck-like vehicles, riding through the desert away from monkey-like monsters.

The official video for the song was released in late November and now has well over two million views. The track itself is rather short, just slightly more than two and a half minutes, with each of their girls lending their voice to a verse. At one point, North sings in Japanese, and most of Chicago's singing appears to be more of her speaking and then having her voice run through autotune.

Fans Majorly Criticized The Song

Despite the high view count on the video, it seems that listeners aren't taking to the girls' single. The comments on the video are largely negative, with many people noting that the song felt poorly produced. Others seemed to feel irritated that Kim and Kanye were giving their kids such a major platform when it didn't seem like the girls were particularly musically talented.

One person teased the singers' lack of talent:

This is the equivalent of my mom hanging up my kindergarten art on our refrigerator.

Other fans seemed to point their criticism at Kanye directly, noting that they used to think of him as a brilliant creator but that his taste in music had since declined. Many expressed their disbelief that the beloved musician could produce something as awful as "BOOM:"

I refuse to think this is the same man that made my dark twisted fantasy and college dropout and graduation and watch the throne.

"This is something that I’d see in a dream and wake up not being able to fully explain," wrote yet another, expressing their disbelief at the strangeness of the music video's creative direction.

As of now, neither of the girls' parents has responded to the backlash about the song. Only time will tell if they come to their daughters' defense or if they'll encourage them to release more music.
