It's safe to say that the early 2000s were the peak of boy bands — and numerous successful ones were competing against each other for the throne of the best boy band at the time. While we all clearly remember Backstreet Boys and NSYNC, one boy band that often tends to be forgotten is O-Town. The band was formed from the first season of the reality television show Making the Band in 2000 and it gave us hist such as "All or Nothing" and "Liquid Dreams."

In 2003, the band decided to split up and since then most fans were not aware of what the musicians have been up to. Today, we're taking a look at the five band members and what they have been doing since O-Town's big fame in the early 2000s!

10 Ashley Parker Angel Is Pursuing A Career On Broadway

Kicking the list off is Ashley Parker Angel who rose to fame with O-Town but has since decided to pursue a career on Broadway. Since 2007, Ashley Parker Angel has acted in plenty of Broadway productions, and recently he appeared in Wicked as the lead male character Fiyero Tigelaar. Ashley — who released only one studio album after O-Town went on hiatus — has certainly found fame in the world of musicals!

9 And Flaunting His Looks On Instagram

Besides switching career paths and becoming a Broadway star, Ashley Parker Angel has also been fairly active on social media. In particular, the 39-year-old loves posting thirst traps on his Instagram — and anyone who follows him is bound to end up seeing a couple of shirtless photos of the star on their feed!

8 Trevor Penick Also Switched To An Acting Career

Next on the list is Trevor Penick who — after O-Town split in 2003 — started dabbling in acting.

While Trevor never had his big breakthrough in Hollywood he did appear in shows like Project Hollywood, Making Yogurt with Brady Matthews, and 20/20 — as well as movies such as Chasing Sunshine, It Snows All the Time, Killing Lazarus, and Dead 7.

7 And He Released Music Under The Stage Name Tre Scott

Besides exploring the world of acting, Trevor Penick also decided to pursue a solo career under the stage name Tre Scott. Like that, Trevor released a single called "Hold On" however, the song flopped and Trevor seemingly decided to take a break from music. Today, Trevor is 41 years old.

6 Jacob Underwood Is A Happy Father

Let's move on to Jacob Underwood who, since O-Town has disbanded in 2003, seems to have focused on his private life. In October 2018, Jacob's fiancee Chandler Bay gave birth to their daughter Everest anyone who follows Jacob on social media has certainly been plenty of content that features his adorable daughter. While the 41-year-old star is certainly still passionate about music — it's safe to say that his daughter is his number one priority!

5 And For A While He Was In A Country Band Called Jacob’s Loc

While some O-Town members have decided to pursue a solo career after the group disbanded, Jacob decided to form another band. In 2004 he formed the country group Jacob’s Loc, and in 2006 they released their debut album called The E.P. However, since then Jacob has left the country band in order to go back to his roots — but we'll talk about that later on.

4 Dan Miller Is Also A Father

Another O-Town member who decided to focus on his private life after the group disbanded in 2003 is Dan Miller. In 2004, Dan married his longtime girlfriend Erin and together with her, he has a daughter named Navy Jean and a son named Major Lorenzo.

Unlike Jacob Underwood, 40-year-old Dan doesn't tend to share that much content of his family on Instagram — but occasionally he will post a photo with his children!

3 Erik Michael Estrada Gave Acting A Shot As Well

Out of all the O-Town members it safe to say that Erik Michael Estrada had the most success in Hollywood. In 2014 he starred in the crime drama Los Lost Ones and in 2017 he played the lead in the action-comedy The Bang Bang Brokers. Of course, the 41-year-old isn't a huge Hollywood star but compared to his bandmates he certainly has the most impressive roles on his resume!

2 And He Declared Himself As A NSYNC Fan

While O-Town was popular around the same time as Justin Timberlake's iconic band NSYNC — it's safe to say that the former had much more success. In fact, recently Erik Michael Estrada declared himself as an NSYNC fan which certainly warmed plenty of fans hearts around the globe because no one needs competition between boy bands — there's plenty of space for everyone!

1 Lastly, O-Town Reunited — But Without Ashley Parker Angel

And finally, wrapping the list up is the fact that O-Town reunited in 2013 — 10 years after disbanding. Unfortunately, Ashley Parker Angel decided not to join the band because he wanted to focus on his own career. In 2014, O-Town released their third studio album Lines & Circles and in 2019 they released their fourth album called The O.T.W.N. Album.
