Exes Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis' time in court may be far from over thanks to their former nanny.

When couples split up, things can get messy, and celebrities are no different — especially in the case of actors Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis. While the couple reportedly reached a custody settlement over their two shared children recently, their former nanny, Ericka Genaro, is still awaiting a settlement over her claim that she was treated unfairly by the couple while employed by them.

Back in February 2023, Genaro went for the estranged couple in court, claiming that during her time with the family, she was forced to work under emotionally difficult conditions, feeling like she had to pick sides as the couple tried to navigate their split. She also claimed she was wrongfully terminated, which was ultimately dismissed in court. But according to a statement made by the nanny's lawyer, Ron Zambrano, Genaro will be appealing the court's recent decision to turn this dispute over to "private mediation."

According to Genaro and her legal team, Sudeikis and Wilde's agreement to mediate privately is an attempt to "silence" their nanny, denying her of the justice she deserves.

“We respectfully disagree with the judge’s decision to move this case into private arbitration and are seeking all avenues to have the ruling reversed and allow us to try this case before a jury of their peers,” Zambrano claimed in a separate statement to Us Weekly. “We believe the judge did not apply the actual facts presented to applicable law which should have led to a finding that the agreement was unenforceable,” Based on this, the former nanny filed an appeal to the court's decision on October 4.
