While the story had fans responding with everything from laughs to questions about the event, it also brought a renewed focus on the friendship that the pair share. Rogen and Rudd are two of the leading funny men in the entertainment industry and have a history of starring in some comedy greats together.

"It's shocking that they were able to make a movie out of it because we were really just hanging out. We're kind of idiots, as you can probably see, so when left to our own devices we'll do this -- which is not interesting. Through the magic of editing, this will seem hilarious."
