In Netflix's Perfect Match, Jessica Vestal was just as intriguing and glamorous as when she first appeared in season six of Love is Blind. Fans of Love Is Blind were rooting for Vestal to find love but it didn't happen. When it was announced she'd be appearing in the second season of Perfect Match, Jessica Vestal got another chance.

While viewers saw Vestal with Harry Jowsey through most of the episodes of Perfect Match, they learned in the finale of the season about Jowsey's deception. Vestal and Jowsey have talked about their relationship in the days since the end of Perfect Match. Despite some apparent glimmers of hope, Jowsey has said the two have permanently parted ways.

Vestal may not have been lucky when it came to romance on reality television, but her life away from the camera is full of love, joy, and beauty. The executive assistant has been open about single motherhood, advocating for foster parents, and living with a chronic illness. On top of all of that, Vestal has also offered a peek into her makeup regimen and a few other aspects of what it's like to be her. In this article, we'll delve into Vestal's life as a busy single mother. Then, we'll take a look at how Vestal makes time for fitness and beauty in her daily life.

Being a single mother is something Jessica Vestal was open about on television. Despite being apprehensive about bringing her daughter to the attention of suitors on Love is Blind, Vestal was very forthcoming about how much motherhood means to her.

She's no less forthcoming about that now. Vestal's Instagram account is full of images of her and Autumn, attesting to their strong bond.

Vestal also understands how her life sets her apart from other people her age.

In an interview with Glamour magazine in March 2024, Vestal noted that single motherhood means, "Sometimes people don't take me as seriously as they would a woman who was married and had children in her mid-30s. Autumn was an unplanned pregnancy, but that doesn't make me any less of a mom than anyone else. But I feel like that probably has something to do with it, which I try not to take offense to. It just is what it is."

Vestal's on-screen life has understandably been part of her relationship with Autumn. After Love is Blind, Autumn had "hard feelings" about what happened with Blackwell, Presnall, and Vestal. This was, in Vestal's words via People Magazine in February 2024, simply a reflection of Autumn's protective nature because, "She's an extension of me, she's a chip off the old block."

Inside Jessica Vestal's Health And Workout Routine Outside Of Perfect Match

A Charlotte, North Carolina, native, Jessica Vestal has stayed close to home. She still resides in Charlotte and works as an executive assistant for GCG. She focuses on corporate administration, client relations, and community outreach, all of which give her opportunities to tap into her well-honed communication skills.

When Vestal isn't working and enjoying motherhood, she spends time staying fit.

A fan of yoga and general fitness, Vestal told Glamour magazine in March 2024, "I try to have some kind of physical activity every day, whether that be weightlifting or a solid core class."

Her effort to stay in shape and healthy is part of maintaining remission of Vestal's Crohn's disease, as E! News reported in April 2024. Vestal knows that taking care of herself is an ongoing process.

"I'm also trying to incorporate therapy back into my regimen, which is invaluable. Typically, self-care for me means facials and massages, so I'm trying to incorporate those things back in slowly."

She explained further, "But I came to realize that we can best take care of our children when we take care of ourselves first, and our kids being able to see us happy, and doing things for us individually that makes us happy, does set a really good example for them."

Vestal is also active in her church and is always ready to laugh. Before first appearing on Love is Blind, Vestal told Tudum, "One thing about me is I'm going to laugh, and so that means he’s going to be laughing all the time — whether it be with me or at me."

Vestal actively lends her voice to supporting the foster care system. Vestal has a very personal connection to the Foster Parent Association and credits her foster mother with making her the woman she is today. In addition to describing herself as an advocate for foster care in her Instagram bio, Vestal is regularly on TikTok showing her support for the cause.

One thing even Jessica Vestal was surprised to see on Love is Blind was how solid her makeup looked. In her interview with Glamour magazine, Vestal said "I wore the same lip combo the whole show, no matter what scene I'm in." Then she revealed her secret to her lip look and listed some of her other must-have skin products. Vestal describes herself as a "girl's girl" and finds joy in bonding with her daughter, Autumn, over girl things.

A Sephora or an Ulta run is a weekly thing for us. It's one of our things we do for bonding. Even if we're not going in there to buy anything, we're just girly girls. She makes it a point to be overly respectful of the people that work there and the people around us.

Romance from Perfect Match aside, Vestal's thriving when cameras aren't around. Her ability to balance the life of a working professional and single motherhood highlights her well-rounded nature.
