On May 27th, NBC premiered a brand-new competition series called Destination X that's quickly becoming a hit with TV-goers. The show takes 10 strangers on a blacked-out bus as they embark on an international journey, without any idea where they are. In each episode, contestants compete in challenges and earn clues which will help them figure out where in the world they are. However, those who guess the farthest spot from their actual location are eliminated.

In Episode 3, fans saw two familiar reality TV faces during a challenge — Love Island USA Season 6's JaNa Craig and The Bachelor's Peter Weber. At the end of the episode, both JaNa and Peter board the bus where they too will compete along with the remaining contestants.

For Peter, this game might be right up his alley. Known as "Pilot Pete" during his Bachelor days thanks to his career as a commercial pilot, he’s no stranger to international travel, which could give him a leg up in a game all about geography and location.

Peter Weber, famously known as "Pilot Pete," returned to reality television when he appeared on the third episode of NBC's newest competition series, Destination X, which aired on June 10th. Both he and Love Island USA's JaNa Craig made an epic appearance during the episode's maze challenge, where both reality stars handed out a card to a contestant who was told to send and save one other competitor to the Map Room.

However, that wasn't the end of Peter and JaNa as viewers watched them board the blacked-out bus to participate alongside the remaining contestants. Peter shared that he was up for the challenge and even left Biggy a little fearful that he'd use his Bachelor charm on the remaining competitors.

In a confessional, Peter shared that he felt he had an edge thanks to his piloting career and his experience navigating the globe could give him a real advantage when it comes to figuring out which part of Europe they're in.

Peter became a pilot when he was 19, and currently works for United.

Additionally, Peter was excited to join the competitors, having mentioned that it was his third reality TV show, but despite his appearances on both romantic and competitive shows, he’s never walked away with a win.

In an interview with NBC Insider, Pete shared that he hoped he'd come out a champion on Destination X.

"I have never won any type of reality competition I have been on, so I’m trying to get this first W and hopefully this is it," Peter began. "When I’m playing a game like this, I literally have one thing on my mind, and that’s winning. If it’s not a win, it’s as good as losing. I don’t care about coming in second, third place. I want to win this."

The reality star also expressed how excited he was that he could use his career to his advantage. "This is the first time I feel like I’ve been able to intertwine my profession and my experience doing reality TV. I have to pinch myself because this is so perfect."

Peter isn't a stranger to competitive reality TV shows and went far when he appeared in Season 2 of The Traitors. His bold and strategic gameplay helped to identify two Traitors within the castle, but he was ultimately voted out in Episode 9.

In an Instagram post following his exit from the show, Peter shared that he had no regrets about the way he played the game.

"I had the time of my life playing this game and will forever cherish it,” Weber wrote. “Wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you all for your support and love along the way. That never went unnoticed and I’m grateful for you. All gas no breaks, till the f---ing wheels fall off baby.”

In his interview with NBC, Peter shared that he would use a similar gameplay going into Destination X.

"I can confidently say from The Traitors that I have always been a team player. I believe in loyalty and doing things the right way. Obviously, this is a competition and you want to win it, but I take pride in playing a certain way," he shared.

Peter continued, "When I give my trust to someone, I truly hope they’re giving it back to me. I don't do that with everybody, but when I do it’s huge. It’s how you make it far in a game like this."

The former Bachelor also shared that he was going with a fun mindset. "Obviously, nerves are going to be a part of the game, naturally, but just try to suppress that as much as possible and just have fun. I feel like if I’m playing that way, that’s when I’m in my best element."

Rocking A Tee Shirt Featuring His Face, This Bachelor Contestant Has A Bad Case Of 'Bieber Fever'

Sorry, Grant—JB will always be her first love!

Peter Was Both A Bachelorette Contestant And A Bachelor Lead

Of course, Bachelor Nation fans know Peter best as "Pilot Pete," thanks to his appearances as a contestant on The Bachelorette and later as the lead on The Bachelor. Unfortunately, his time on both shows didn’t end with him finding his forever person.

Peter first appeared as a contestant on Season 15 of The Bachelorette in 2019 where he and 29 other men were vying for Hannah Brown's affection. Peter came close to winning Hannah's heart, but he ultimately placed third. Fans wanted Peter to get his own love story, and he was named The Bachelor for Season 24 shortly after.

Peter ended up proposing to contestant Hannah Ann Sluss, but they called off their engagement shortly after, with Peter admitting during the After the Final Rose special that he had feelings for runner-up Madison Prewett. While in the audience, Peter's mother shared that she had disapproved of her son's relationship with Madison and believed it wouldn't last.

Speaking to former host Chris Harrison, she shared, "Chris, he’s going to have to fail to succeed. All his friends, all his family, everyone that knows him knows that it’s not going to work."

Well, one could say that mothers know their son best as Peter and Madison split just two days later. However, Peter was also hung up on another one of his former contestants. Months later, the pilot began dating Kelley Fanagan, who came in fifth during his season. The two split in December 2020, but rekindled their relationship only to break things off again in 2023.

In an interview with People, Peter revealed that he was single and "still looking for the one."

"You can't ever force it, but I have faith in due time that'll work out,” he says. “I never lost faith, so I know it'll happen soon and I’m just enjoying the journey along the way," the reality star said.

Fans can continue to watch Peter and JaNa with their fellow competitors when Destination X airs new episodes every Tuesday at 10 p.m. on NBC.
