Neither Travis nor Kourtney have provided any information regarding the reason that prompted the Blink-182 drummer to abruptly return home in the midst of his tour. “Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States,” the band wrote via its official Twitter page on September 1.

“The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed. More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available.”

It appears the drummer may be gearing up to reunite with his bandmates, as Blink-182 hasn’t cancelled its whole European leg, only the three shows mentioned in their announcement. According to information available on the band's official website, it appears that Travis is expected to make a comeback in just under a week, as Blink-182 is scheduled to resume their European tour on September 8 in Antwerp, Belgium.

While Travis hasn’t addressed the emergency on social media, he did raise speculation on Friday shortly before Blink-182’s announcement when he shared a photo from the inside of a prayer room.

The photos of the prayer room featured welcoming signage, stained glass adorned with religious symbols, and a flag bearing the message "together we pray." Barker offered no additional commentary in his Instagram Story posts.

Travis and Kourtney both have three children from previous relationships, and there’s been speculation the emergency could be related to one of their kids. But Travis’ ex-wife Shanna Moakler has spoken out to assure fans their children aren’t the cause for concern.

“I don’t know what’s going on, I just know that our kids are safe and sound — obviously that’s important to me,” Shanna told paparazzi.

“Obviously, whenever they have to cancel shows, it’s a really big deal. I’m just praying that his immediate family — and the baby and Kourtney and everyone — is safe and okay,” she continued.

Travis and Shanna’s daughter Alabama also made headlines this weekend when she seemed unbothered by the “family emergency” as she was spotted at a Los Angeles club. Only hours after Blink0182’s announcement, Alabama, 17, took to her Instagram Story on Friday night, where she posted a photo of a man at LA’s Bootsy Bellows holding a lit sign that read, "Alabama, Bad bitches get Birkins."

She also uploaded a mirror selfie featuring herself and three friends, all dressed in black, striking poses in a parking garage.

For now, the Kardashians and Barkers are remaining silent on the personal emergency.
