There have been rumblings that Prince Harry is eager to return to the U.K. amid his family’s ongoing health crises, including Kate Middleton and King Charles’ joint cancer diagnoses. But it looks like Harry is challenging the claims, as he officially changed his country of residence to the United States, suggesting he's not going anywhere.

Meghan Markle's displays of affection with her friends are being called childlike and staged.
Why Prince Harry Changed His Place Of Residence Recently
Harry recently had to file paperwork with Companies House, a requirement for his eco-tourism non-profit, Travalyst. Previously, the prince listed the United Kingdom as his home base, but on the updated paperwork it’s changed to the U.S.
Harry has been living in California with his wife since 2021, when they abdicated their royal duties amid an ongoing feud with the royals, as Meghan Markle alleges she was mistreated living in the U.K. Though they’ve been in the states for several years, and even welcomed a second child in that time, Harry didn’t update his place of residence until last June, when the paperwork was filed. Interestingly, it happened on the same day Kensington Palace confirmed Harry and Meghan were no longer inhabiting Frogmore House.
Prior to this, there were various reports suggesting Prince Harry was considering a return back to his native London.
“He's eager to return to London and help take up some of the slack now that the medical issues of the King and the Princess of Wales have thrown the monarchy into a state of crisis,” royal author Christopher Andersen claimed earlier this year.
“If they could all put these perceived slights and resentments behind them, Harry and Meghan could be hugely valuable assets to the monarchy at a time when it could use all the help it can get,” he added.
King Charles Reportedly Wants To Reconcile With His Son
There have also been claims that King Charles is eager to repair the tension between him and Harry. “[King Charles] desperately wants to reconcile with Harry," royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight.
"The king would have been hugely relieved and comforted by the fact that Harry flew over," she continued, referring to Harry’s brief visit to the U.S. upon the revelation that King Charles had cancer, though Meghan remained in the U.S. with their kids.

Meghan Markle Allegedly Sees Herself As A Modern Princess Diana As Feud With Royals Deepens
Meghan is looking to her late mother-in-law to inspire her next career moves and she thinks the public will sympathize with her.
"He wants to repair that relationship and indeed have a relationship with his daughter-in-law and his grandchildren," Nicholl continued. "I think when someone has a serious health scare like this, it does make you reassess things and I think that's why Harry got on the first flight he could."
Harry and Meghan have various projects that are likely keeping them in the States, given that she just launched a lifestyle brand (though it’s had a critical reception thus far) and they’re working on two Netflix shows that they’ll be starring in. Meghan reportedly wants to resume her acting career, while one report claims Harry is eyeing work on television, so a permanent move back to the U.K. does seem out of the cards for the royal couple.
