During a heated conversation with Teresa Giudice, Luis Ruelas snapped and said that he hoped “Margaret and her family suffer.”

"I hope her f****** son suffers the way I suffer, the way other people in our family have suffered dealing with a woman like that. She’s a disgusting, vile human being."

He later apologized for his comments, saying he shouldn’t have brought up Margaret’s son, but Teresa defended him for his outburst and asked the rest of the Housewives not to stick up for Margaret.

When Rachel was asked during an interview with Us Weekly about Luis, she tried to be polite, but when pressed, she admitted that he might be the show’s “downfall.”

“I wasn’t here before he got here. And I think that’s an important thing to kind of realize is, like, it happened at the same time. From what I recall, his involvement in the show happened simultaneously, increased when I became a housewife,” she explained. “So from what people are saying, it sounds like that.”

While she didn’t outright say that he’s to blame for the toxicity that has been plaguing RHONJ lately, she did say that he made things worse for the Housewives. Including his own wife.

“I think that he kind of poured gasoline on the fire. He just kind of mic-dropped it, you know what I mean? He just put the bookend on it,” she said.

“Unfortunately, I feel like Teresa does have to clean up a lot of the things that he says. I mean, I feel like her podcast solely exists to clean up Louie’s mess.”

About Teresa, she said that it looks like she's constantly “justifying his actions or something like that.”

“So it does seem like there’s quite a bit of toxicity around him.”

Rachel Fuda Says Her Kindness Is Her 'Downfall'

Fans will have noticed that Rachel Fuda refused to outright accuse Luis Ruelas of damaging the show, and she said that it's because she has "morals." She respects her castmates and hates having to criticize them publicly, which she admits is her "downfall" in RHONJ.

"I've said that a million times but that is my biggest downfall, as a Housewife, is that I hold myself to a higher standard than some of the women that are on our show,” she explained.
