Rachel Leviss was once known as Raquel Leviss and first appeared as James Kennedy's girlfriend in Season 5 of Vanderpump Rules. The long-legged brunette and the DJ ended up getting engaged, but by the Season 9 reunion, the two had called it quits. The following season, Rachel was a single woman working at Lisa Vanderpumps' SUR restaurant, but that ended up causing more drama among her co-stars.
In Season 10, it was revealed that Rachel and Tom Sandoval were having an affair. It was a shocking blow to his then-girlfriend of nearly 10 years, Ariana Madix. Their affair caused a major rift among their friends, and Rachel and Tom were ultimately made out to be villains.
After Scandoval, Rachel went into a mental health treatment facility following the backlash. She did not return to Season 11 (which would be the last time fans got to see the OGs following news of a reboot) and she has yet to make a reality TV return. What is Rachel doing today?

Following Scandoval, Rachel Leviss Launched Her Rachel Goes Rogue Podcast
Rachel Leviss Quit Her Podcast After Less Than A Year
Following Scandoval, Rachel Leviss decided to tell her side of the story by launching a podcast called Rachel Goes Rogue. The podcast's first episode was released in January 2024, which happened to be the same month Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules premiered. Rachel did not appear in the season.
According to a press release for her new podcast, Rachel used the outlet as part of her healing journey following immense backlash and scrutiny by her co-stars and VPR viewers.
"Leviss will explore a spectrum of topics, mastering self-empowerment and navigating life’s challenges with grace and authenticity. She will passionately cultivate candid conversations, breaking the fourth wall in reality TV and frankly discussing living her entire dating life on camera. Opening up about her mental health breakdown and intensive treatment on the podcast, Leviss will aspire to inspire, bring awareness to mental health issues and challenge the stigma surrounding treatment."
Rachel's podcast featured several guests, including professionals who specialize in relationships and mental health. She spoke about her personal life, including being in pageantry, her adoption story, and her very first day working at SUR restaurant. Rachel discussed her relationship with Tom Sandoval and James Kennedy, and even spoke openly about her old cast mates and whether she missed them or not.
Rachel Goes Rogue was executive produced by iHeartPodcasts and RHONY alum Bethenny Frankel's Just the B Podcast Network.
In an October 2024 episode, Rachel announced that she would be leaving her podcast. The former reality TV star wanted to move away from all the drama of Vanderpump Rules and focus on her well-being. The podcast was rebranded and titled Rogue Energy.
“I’ve made the decision to take both feet out of the Vanderpump Rules universe and focus on myself, focus on my life, my healing," she expressed. “I have decided to walk away from continuing the podcast, because I would like to move on from having one foot in the door of Vanderpump Rules and one foot out."

The SUR restaurant manager believes the new cast of Season 12 will bring just as much drama as the OGs.
Rachel Is Dating Someone Out Of The Spotlight
The Reality TV Star Has Shared Numerous Photos With Her Boyfriend
In her finale podcast episode, Rachel revealed that she was dating someone. Although she did not go into specifics, she explained, "I am in a new relationship, and it’s very healthy, and he’s very normal." She added, "He’s just such a supportive person, and I just feel really happy."
She further explained why she decided to announce her new romance on her very last episode: "The reason why I'm choosing to share it with you guys now, with the permission of my significant other, is because it is a success story, and there is hope for the people that are listening who are struggling with relationships and really can't quite see the light at the end of the tunnel yet."
"When you do course correct and choose a different lifestyle for yourself and prioritize different things in your life and...put all that energy back into yourself, then you really will begin...to attract a different caliber of person," she shared.
According to People, the reality star was dating a rocket engineer. An insider for the outlet shared that the two met "through mutual friends" and were the perfect match as he didn't have social media. "So his priorities are really in the right place," they shared.
Rachel also removed herself from Los Angeles. She was splitting her time in Arizona and Idaho, where her parents lived.
Rachel has since shared photos with her partner on Instagram. In October 2024, the pair vacationed in Italy where they dined near the Amalfi Coastline, and in November of that year, the two drove dirt bikes. "Tried something new today 🏍️💨," she captioned her photos. In December, the couple and a few friends enjoyed walking through a Christmas light show.

It Doesn't Appear That Rachel Is In Contact With Her Vanderpump Rules' Co-Stars
Rachel Is Focused On Her Health Journey
It doesn't appear that Rachel is in contact with her former co-stars. She left the series having bad blood with Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney, and Scheana Shay. In fact, fans will remember that in Season 10, she filed a restraining order against Scheana after she allegedly punched Rachel in March 2023. Scheana continued to deny the accusations, even stating that there was no way her hands could even make a fist because of her long nails.
According to People, the restraining order was officially dismissed later that month.
In fact, Rachel has an ongoing lawsuit against Tom and Ariana. She sued Ariana and her ex-lover for alleged revenge porn, claiming that Tom filmed her without her consent. It was the same video Ariana found on Tom's phone which exposed their affair.
Interestingly, in August 2024, Rachel admitted that she missed a few of her friendships from VPR. She also revealed that she "was able to rekindle" old friendships.
"Of course I miss those friendships. I haven’t heard from anyone. I think the most heartbreaking part of all of it was feeling betrayed by my friends. I know how that sounds because I was somebody who betrayed a friend. But in my darkest times, I just thought that these were my true friends and they would love me no matter what and would want to hear me out. That just wasn’t the case."
She continued, "But I have been able to rekindle some of the friendships that I do value [with] the trusted people. Now we’ve come to this freedom [where] I don’t need to monitor what I’m saying anymore because it’s all out there. This is my new life and I really have nothing to hide."
When the outlet asked Rachel is she'd ever make amends with Ariana, that seemed to be a stretch. "I think we’re both moving on in our lives and I wish her continued success."
In addition, Rachel surrounds herself with people who lift her up and don't drag her down. She's certainly been through a lot following Scandoval. "I’ve done most of the healing work—although I’m still in therapy—and I still make it a point to continue to work on myself because it’s an ongoing process."
