In an interview with fellow Bravo reality star Bethenny Frankel on the latter's podcast, Just B, Leviss opened up about her negative reputation on the series:
It is hurtful to me just to think that — my nature is very kind and forgiving and understanding of other people, so the concept of me being the ultimate reality TV villain just blows my mind.
Raquel Leviss has also been candid about rumors that she's had plastic surgery.
At just 21 years old, when she first appeared on Vanderpump Rules, Leviss' appearance has altered as she has gotten older. But tabloids couldn't help but point out that many aspects of the former beauty pageant queen's appearance had drastically changed over the years.

The reason why I love [Instagram] filters so much is because I absolutely hate my nose, and it's an easy, easy fix just to straighten that out.

Does Tom Sandoval Have A Higher Net Worth Than Vanderpump Rules Co-Star Raquel Leviss?
Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss shocked Vanderpump Rules fans with their affair, but their net worths are even more surprising.
fter the cheating scandal was exposed, Leviss was subjected to criticism on the show and on social media in which fans dubbed the affair as #Scandoval.
In an interview with Hollywood Life, Raquel Leviss explained in depth why she decided to leave the show for good.
Looking back and seeing how much pain I was in interacting with James [Kennedy] on camera and seeing his new girlfriend, I could only imagine the pain I would cause by filming in the same environment with Ariana. Because being involved with somebody's boyfriend while they're still in a relationship is a huge betrayal and so painful as it is, but then to continue working with these people and interacting with them — maybe not even speaking — but, like, hearing about what they're doing and and seeing your person that you loved so much and thought that they loved you just as much as you love them be conversing with this other person. … It would just be so catastrophic and I didn't want to do that to Ariana. I didn't want to put her in that position.
In addition to her heartbreak over her ex-fiance Kennedy and her affair with Sandoval, Leviss has also been vocal about her issues with alcoholism.
She stated to Bethanny Frankel on her podcast that during filming on Vanderpump Rules she would drink a lot to ease her anxiety and that alcohol had been a coping mechanism she had relied on since her breakup from Kennedy.

Leviss then expanded on why she checked into a mental hospital:
Part of the reason why I wanted to take some time away is just because it was so chaotic and loud, and there was such vitriol online. But then the other part of the reason why I wanted to go to a treatment facility was to understand my behaviors and my goal was to really get down to the bottom of, 'OK why am I choosing men that are unavailable, why do I keep finding myself in unhealthy relationships, what are the things that I need to change about my behaviour'.
