Between getting to watch the Real Housewives franchise and seeing the action that takes place during Love Island UK Season 12, Hayu users can enjoy hundreds of hours of entertainment. As wonderful as it is that The Real Housewives Of Orange County Season 19 is now streaming on Hayu, The Real Housewives of London's debut is what has fans talking.

The first Hayu original series, The Real Housewives of London features a truly incredible cast of women. With that in mind, it is fascinating to learn what the show's cast said about what makes The Real Housewives of London special.

The Real Housewives of London's Cast Explained The Show's Location Will Make It Stand Out

In August 2025, TheThings journalist Matthew Thomas interviewed the cast of The Real Housewives of London about the upcoming show. Before The Real Housewives of London premieres on Hayu on August 18th, the show's cast explained what makes it special. As soon as the cast was asked what makes The Real Housewives of London stand out, Karen Loderick-Peace explained that the show's location makes the show feel special.

"Because, the best has been saved for last and London is calling. This is the empire of the world and this is the country of, may her soul rest in peace, of The Queen and Margaret Thatcher, a strong woman. So, we are showing what London women bring strength, power, and resilience. We're here for it and we are calling."

After Karen's powerful words, Juliet Angus told TheThings that The Real Housewives of London features a cast of women with varied backgrounds. Juliet then explained that featuring women from around the world makes The Real Housewives of London feel different.

"An international mix. We're all from all different places. It's not like we're all New Yorkers. It's really a great mix. And so, this is the perfect addition to the franchise."

Since she clearly is very proud of The Real Housewives of London, Panthea Parker gave a concise description of how great the show is.

"It's the diamond of the Housewives."

Finally, Amanda Cronin explained that the show's cast and location makes it extremely glamorous.

"London's the most powerful, the most beautiful city in the world. So, we're bringing it. I mean, there's no city in the world that competes with London and there are no women who are as glamorous as us."

The Real Housewives Of London's Cast Explained Which Other Show In The Franchise Their Show Is The Most Like

Since there have been so many Real Housewives shows over the years, fans of the franchise have been given a lot of variety in the past. As a result, after the special elements of Hayu's The Real Housewives of London were explained, its cast was asked to reveal which other show in the franchise was the most comparable. Without skipping a beat, Juliet Mayhew exclaimed that the franchise has never seen anything like The Real Housewives of London.

"None. We definitely stand apart."

Karen Loderick-Peace then expressed a similar sentiment about The Real Housewives of London being original.

"We are so, so original."

While The Real Housewives of London's cast believe they are original, Panthea Parker explained that the show has been compared to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“One of these journalists said Beverly Hills would be the closest.”

Juliet Angus agreed that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is the closest comparison to The Real Housewives of London.

“For glamorous and drama. Beverly Hills I think we’re the most comparable to."

In January 2023, a Screen Rant article listed a season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as one of the franchise's highest rated ever. As a result, that comparison makes it seem like The Real Housewives of London will be special once it starts streaming on Hayu.
