While the absolute list of new housewives has not yet been confirmed, some women have made mention of the show and their future participation. Lisa Barlow is one of those women we think we will see on our television screens in the near future. Barlow is married to John Barlow, and together, the Mormon couple created and launched a boutique tequila distillery, Vida Tequila. They are proud of what they do for a living and are happy to share their careers with their sons.
9 The New Edition To The Franchise Has Been Met With Mixed Review
The women of Salt Lake City have some serious stilettos to fill. They are coming into a franchise that has launched reality superstars like fab and fit Teresa Giudice, Instagram-perfect Melissa Gorga, and mean girl Tamra Judge. While plenty of Bravo fans are salivating at the thought of a whole new gang of women to watch, many are not so sure about the location and premise of the new installment.
To the neigh sayers, show creator Andy Cohen has said that everyone will be shocked at how intriguing this particular group of women is. He went on to say that the new season will be full of twists and surprises that even the greatest Housewife superfan won't see coming.
8 Mormons Will Be Shown
Utah is packed with people of the Mormon faith, and some of the rumored women are devout followers of Mormonism. Mormons tend to live their lives differently than mainstream Christians and people of other religions, so activities or lack thereof may differ slightly with this new batch of housewives.
What is a season of The Real Housewives going to look like without swearing, boozing, or midday coffee dates? We have no clue, but we are sure to find out soon enough!
7 The Show Should Premiere in 2020
Well, at least one good thing will come out of this bizarre and unprecedented year! The new installment of The Real Housewives was supposed to roll out sometime in early fall. This series, like so many others, ended up being pushed back because of the recent pandemic.
While fans of the franchise will have to wait longer to meet the new housewives, they won't have to wait too long. Expect the new show to premiere before the end of 2020; we are heading the big date is November 11th. So, just a few more months before we get our first look.
6 Some New Wives Know Seasoned Ones
The cast of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will be new to us, but they will not necessarily be new to women of more established seasons. The concept of women being interconnected in ways outside of filming together is nothing new. Jersey girl Melissa Gorga is longtime friends with New York housewife Ramona Singer. RHONY's Bethenny Frankel has been tight with Beverly Hills housewife Kyle Richards since they were children.
A new cast member, Jen Shah, will be a new face to us, but not to Dallas housewife Brandi Redmond. The two have recently gone back and forth on social media over homeownership issues.

It wouldn't be a season of The Real Housewives without a heaping load of drama, so this newest installment should not be any different. There are already murmurings of alliances, allegiances, and frenemies. Now we are not saying that the women of other Housewife installments are not role models, but we are saying that not all of them are ones that younger generations will be looking up to anytime soon. It is rumored that the cast of Salt Lake City will differ from other seasons because they come in as high powered ladies living aspirational lives.
Bravo big wig and show creator, Andy Cohen, has said that the newest housewives are role models for all and are doing some seriously big things. We wonder if there will be some inter-season jealousy between former newbies and this new, accomplished batch of western ladies.

Over the years, Bravo has brought us numerous seasons of The Real Housewives, and this newest season is special and unique for several reasons. One of those reasons is their Salt Lake installment just might be the most diverse season to date! Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and Jen Shah, the six women we expect to see appear on the newest segment of the franchise, all have different backgrounds in some respect.
Cosby is African American, Shah is of Polynesian descent, and Barlow is Jewish in heritage and practices Mormonism. Rose and Shah were practicing Mormons, but are now disengaged from the religion, and Shah is converting to Islam.

Mary Cosby is one of the women who is likely going to be starring on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. We are just now starting to learn about Cosby and the other women, what they spend their time doing, who they like and dislike, and what is up with their marriages and families. Cosby has a slightly unconventional union with her husband, or at least it started unconventionally.
Mary wed her late grandmother's second husband, Robert Cosby Sr. so that she could take over his empire of churches, restaurants, and more. They have now been married for about twenty years and share a teenage son.

Mary Cosby isn't the only future housewife who had a marriage that started in a questionable way. Years ago, she started up a relationship with her boss Justin. At the time, both Whitney and Justin were wed to other people. They each left their partners and left the Mormon church after Whitney discovered that she was expecting Justin's baby.
The two now have two sons together and have been with one another for over ten years. While ten years have passed since their scandalous union began, the rumors with this couple just won't die down. The new season may include some new questions about Justin and Whitney's relationship.
