The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are made up of an interesting group of women. Like all Real Housewives shows, a group of women who may or may not actually be “friends” come together as a group in their respective cities. RHOSLC is one of the newest franchises, and it’s one that has already made quite a bit of Real Housewives firsts.
While the show hasn’t been on for years and years, we still appreciate all the housewives from the show. Their individual personalities make the show what it is, and what it’s going to be in the future. With that, let’s take a look at all the zodiac signs of the RHOSLC.
8 What Are The Zodiac Signs Of The Salt Lake City Women?
While RHOSLC is still in its earlier seasons, the show has drawn in quite the viewership. After bringing a different element of the dominating Mormon church of Salt Lake City to our screens, RHOSLC was off to an interesting start. When standout housewife Jen Shah was arrested while they were filming Season 2 of the show, it’s safe to say that all eyes were on RHOSLC.
This group of women all bring varying elements to the show. With one housewife being a leader of a Church and another set to go to prison for charges involving a high-profile telemarketing fraud scheme, it’s obvious that there are some conflicting personalities in this group.
You may be shocked to realize, though, that many of the Salt Lake City housewives share similar zodiac signs. To be more precise, out of the OG RHOSLC cast, they’re made up of only three different signs. In short, that means that certain women a part of this cast are set up to be constantly clashing or meshing pretty well… and we think we all know which one of the two it is!
7 What Element Rules RHOSLC?
Like we mentioned, there are only three different zodiac signs among the six OG Salt Lake City housewives. Because of that, it’s obvious that there are a few standouts elements that rule the group.
Primarily, RHOSLC is ruled by the element of air. What does that mean, you may be asking? By definition, air signs are “the thinkers, communicators, and doers of the zodiac.” While many know that water signs are known for being emotional and that fire signs are infamously passionate, air signs are known for being free.Their intuition allows them to take action easily, floating through the wind, in a sense.
Now, think about one of the air signs in your life (any Libra, Gemini, or Aquarius). Don’t they sort of embody the essence of breezing through life with their heads in the clouds? Well, that’s the elemental sign of the majority of the Salt Lake City housewives!

6 Heather Gay: Cancer (June 29)
Cancers are water signs, and if you recall, they’re known for being emotional. No, really: Cancers have been named the most emotional zodiac sign of all. Heather Gay happens to be a Cancer, and we can see exactly how. Heather has continuously defended herself among the other Salt Lake City housewives, with her emotions sometimes getting the best of her. Everyone also knows just how loyal Heather is with her “ride or die'' mentality on display during each season of RHOSLC.
Heather has also been extremely open about how much her family means to her, and how she would never want to hurt them by expressing herself after leaving the Mormon church. Moments like these where we see Heather often put others before herself show off her sensitive Cancer nature. Of course, Heather can also hold a grudge, so if you do her dirty, watch out. She may be able to forgive, but chances are she’s never going to forget.
5 Whitney Rose: Libra (September 30)
Here’s our first air sign housewife: It’s Whitney Rose, and she’s a Libra. When talking about the qualities of a relaxed, go-with-the-flow air sign, Whitney embodies this essence entirely. The vulnerability and openness that Whitney has shown throughout her time on RHOSLC just had us knowing that she was a Libra. In Season 3 of the show, we know that Whitney was going through a healing journey, working on herself to feel more peace in her life like a true Libra would.
While Libra’s are incredibly soft and angelic on the outside, everyone knows that they have a darker side to them as well. Libra’s love to gossip, and after watching the earlier seasons of RHOSLC, we know that Whitney does too. Alas, as a Libra, Whitney has also shown some indecisiveness on the show, but she reels it in at the end of the day.
4 Jen Shah: Libra (October 4)
Yes, if you couldn’t tell by now, Libra is the sign that rules the cast of RHOSLC. To our surprise, Jen Shah is also a Libra. Jen personifies the charming nature of a Libra, but amid her involvement in a telemarketing fraud scheme, we know that quality is not always the best to have.
While Jen was on RHOSLC, she had some explosive moments that viewers will never be able to forget. Like Whitney, Jen was no stranger to gossiping about the other women of Salt Lake City, proving to be quite the pot stirrer while on the show.
3 Mary M. Cosby: Libra (October 21)
Like both Whitney and Jen, OG Salt Lake City housewife Mary M. Cosby is also a Libra. Mary is the leader of the Faith Temple Pentecostal Church, where she’s able to display her leading personality. While Mary was on RHOSLC, she drew fans in for her incredibly hilarious confessional moments and quick-witted jabs. While Mary might not have been one to enjoy confrontation (hello, she skipped out on the Season 2 reunion), she always gave it back to the girls.
Mary formed a real friendship with Meredith Marks while on RHOSLC, something that fans really want to see on-screen again. In each true friendship that Mary had, she was incredibly supportive and uplifting. If anyone tried to cross Mary in any way, she made sure to put them in their place… ahem, remember her iconic “little girl” moment?
2 Lisa Barlow: Sagittarius (December 14)
Baby gorgeous is a Sagittarius, this she’s mentioned before on the show a time or two. Sagittarius are fire signs, and before even learning of her sign, we already know that Lisa is an incredibly passionate person. Whether it’s her business, her friendships, or her family, Lisa is going to protect and fight for what she’s passionate about the most.
Sagittarius are also known for having a good time, which Lisa often does when she’s not fighting with other cast members. Her naturally fiery roots shine through the most when people come for what she loves the most. All in all, we can appreciate just how honest and real Lisa has become in recent seasons… even if her hot mic moment went way too far.
1 Meredith Marks: Sagittarius (December 15)
Oh yes, Lisa’s former best friend, Meredith Marks, is also a Sagittarius. Hello, maybe that’s why these two haven’t been able to get along in recent years: Their personalities are just too similar, and when dealing with conflict, they attack in the same way. Like all Sagittarius’, if you intend on scrutinizing or questioning anything that Meredith is devoted to, her flaming fire side will come out.
Her sharp wit always gets her through even the toughest of conflicts, and that’s something that we admire the most of Meredith. Really, we all know that Meredith speaks in such an eloquent, smart manner, but her intelligence shines through in everything that she does.
