The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Porsha Williams has had a tumultuous relationship history. Now, she's going through a messy second divorce with Simon Guobadia. Porsha was previously married to Kordell Stewart from 2011 to 2013.

Porsha and Simon got married nearly 10 years later in a lavish two-day ceremony attended by RHOA stars including her fellow OGs. The couple drew flak early on due to the suspicious timeline of their romance.

The scrutiny continues as their divorce gets delayed by Simon's "illegal" doings. Here's what's really going on between the two.

Early in late February 2025, it was reported that Simon had been detained by ICE after "his multiple attempts to illegally enter and remain in the United States," per documents obtained by People. It has since delayed his divorce proceedings with Porsha, whose camp didn't think Simon's physical presence during their hearing was necessary.

On March 10th, Porsha updated Watch What Happens Live that she was "still married" to Simon.

"[The divorce] was about to be over and then, unfortunately, he had been detained [in a Georgia facility]," she explained. Court docs state that Porsha "has vocalized her concerns about [Simon's] questionable immigration status throughout this litigation."

Porsha shares a daughter, Pilar Jhena "PJ" McKinley, with her ex-fiancé, Dennis McKinley. Simon has five kids from previous relationships.

Simon "was fully aware of his longstanding immigration challenges, including multiple denials of his citizenship request," Porsha's legal counsel alleged. This was five days before Porsha told Andy Cohen on WWHL that "[her divorce] should be over soon."

Porsha also told WWHL about the "final straw" in her marriage to Simon. "It was the betrayal of what I thought we had," she responded. "I really thought we were the best communicators with each other."

Porsha revealed she "didn't realize that [Simon] had love bombed [her] and was taking it back, so [their] relationship had kind of swapped over."

The reality star eventually concluded that she "needed more" and that "women should be able to stand up and say, 'I need more. More truth, more this, more that, and a whole lot of other things.'"

Speaking of truths, Simon filed a defamation suit against Porsha in February, on top of their ongoing divorce. The Nigerian businessman took issue with his ex-wife's allegations that he was suffering from Erectile Dysfunction (ED) via Instagram.
