Sutton Stracke's daughter, Porter Stracke, made a rare appearance in Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She joined her reality TV star mother at Kyle Richards' Western-themed party.

Sutton has mostly kept her life as a Bravo star and a mother of three children separate. This was not done by choice, as her ex-husband blocked her from showing her children on RHOBH until they were over 18 years old.

As her two eldest children have become adults, they have appeared more on the reality show. Not only has Porter appeared on RHOBH, but according to Sutton's Instagram, James can be seen in the explosive Season 14 premiere at Sutton's surrealist party.

Who Is Sutton Stracke's Daughter, Porter Stracke?

ScreenRant reported that Porter Stracke graduated from the College of William & Mary and will attend law school. She graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in history and French in May 2024, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Sutton told her Season 14 co-star and friend, Jennifer Tilly, about her daughter's legal aspirations. Jennifer jokes, "You raised 'em right. I don't think your kids are going to be partying it up, stealing your credit cards, buying drugs. They're like kids from the 1950s."

Before Porter graduated from high school in 2020, she was heavily involved in her theater program. Her mother has posted clips of her on stage, including an Instagram post of her performance in Fiddler on the Roof.

Sutton Stracke's Children Did Not Initially Appear On RHOBH Because Of Her Ex-Husband

Many of the stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have included their children in their storylines. Kyle Ricahrds' four daughters, who also starred in their own Netflix show, have regularly appeared on the show as their mother has watched them grow up. Garcelle Beauvais's son Jax Nilon was involved in a former heated storyline, which led to her calling out the hateful comments and trolling he faced online.

Sutton's three children, Porter, Phillip, and James, were rarely seen on the show when she first appeared. When Sutton joined RHOBH in 2020, she had intended the series to follow her family life, but her ex-husband was "not into it." This caused her to lose her diamond and get demoted to a friend-off role.

The reality TV star explained the downgrade to Kate Casey on her podcast, Reality Life With Kate Casey, telling the writer that while she was "excited" to give people a peek into her family life, she "gets'" why her ex-husband was against it.

My ex-husband just was adamant that they could not film with me and I totally get it.

She married Christian Stracke in 2000 and the pair divorced in 2016, as reported by Bravo. "It was a hard blow because, you know, it's exciting to do. And I wanted also viewers to see me with my kids and me at home. And it's the softer side, I think, of all of us," she said.

"When you get to see all of the ladies at home with their kids and their families, it's kind of like, you know, you don't show that much of it. It's clearly not that interesting. But it's the soft underbelly of who these women are. And I'm sorry that we can't see that this season."

Sutton's ex-husband, Christian, is a managing director at the investment management firm PIMCO, which is known for its strict no-media policy.

Have Sutton Stracke's Children Appeared On The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Before?

Things changed when Porter and Phillip Stracke turned 18 and chose to appear alongside their mother on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In 2021, her two older children appeared on the reality show alongside their mother and former diamond holder Lisa Rinna. Sutton told Page Six that it was "really fun and sweet" to film with Porter.

"[Porter's] kind of soft-spoken and she can be a little shy as well. But she loved doing it," the socialite explained. "So it wasn't like, 'I don't want to be here.' She was pretty forthcoming and wanted to do whatever we could do."

The show also filmed her bringing Porter back to school after being home during the Coronavirus pandemic. “I think she didn’t want to be sad on camera. So she was a little angry with me about that because I didn’t know that she was so sad to leave home,” Sutton revealed but is thankful they caught the moment on camera.

Then I saw it and I was like, ‘Oh gosh.’ But it is what it is. I think that it’ll be like this bittersweet moment. Who knows if we’ll see it or not, but for us, I will always remember that moment.

In 2022, Porter and Philip appeared in the Season 12 RHOBH episode "Rosé Colored Glasses." Sutton is seen making sandwiches for her children, and she explains that her eldest son is joining the military.

According to Bravo, in Season 13, she explained that her ex-husband Christian was moving to London for work and intended to bring their youngest, James, with him. Sutton revealed in that season's reunion that he tends to "get what he wants."

When Sutton refused the move, Christian surprisingly caved in and accepted her decision. “I went to him and said, ‘I am not moving to London. James is not moving to London. We're staying here,’” she revealed. “It took so much courage for me to do that.”

Although he has appeared the least on RHOBH, Sutton regularly posts about him on her Instagram, updating her followers on her youngest.
