Leah McSweeney keeps it real, too real to clean her apartment for a Bravo interior design tour. She joined Luann de Lesseps to give viewers an inside peek at her New York City home.
While fans adored her pink decor and art deco features, they wished she didn't try to push the "too cool to organize" envelope. She barely made her bed.
Leah's Apartment
McSweeney claimed that she didn't tidy up her space for cameras because she wanted to show everyone what she's really like, which is messy. While, yes, we get it. Putting on a snooty facade is less than watchable.
Refusing to pick up random bags off of the floor, however, is a uniquely unexplainable choice. As filming entered her bedroom, she explained, "My bed is 75% made. Let's fix it."
We, along with commentators of the YouTube video, wish that we could focus on her true crime book picks and cheeky puckered lip chair. The visual noise diluted the personality that her apartment honed.
One fan described her approach to the potential PR opportunity as teenager-like mannerisms, "I feel like Leah is a teenager - her style and personality. It's very endearing and a little disturbing at the same time though. But I'm here for it."
Another RHONY lover fully came with her, keyboard shade included, "Come on Leah we all can be messy but we clean up if company comes over! Am I right?? Woke is broke hun-eyyy." She's obviously not broke, but alright.
Her Most Prized Possession
One may think that her lavish purple sectional would be her favorite living room must-have. Her favorite item in the room, however, is a painted portrait of her dog Angel. It sits in the middle of the action, right beside her minimalist clay vases and funky pink candles.
Although fans were skeptical about her cleaning habits, they couldn't get enough of the fiery newcomer's view. Her window overlooks Manhattan streets, expensive ones.
Another fan wished they could spend their nights taking in that view, "I'm so jealous of Leah's view. I would put a lounge chair by one of the Windows. Would be my spot at night and esp in winter watching the snow and traffic and all the Christmas lights."
Magical! Whether you think her refusal to spruce up the place is fake, you can't deny how real her taste is from just a second of looking at her safe space.
