As cameras captured the entire thing, viewers were quick to chime in with their thoughts, referring to the dramatic moment as one of the best Housewives episodes ever, and we don't blame them! So, what really went down during the shocking RHOSLC arrest? Let's dive in!

Jen Shah Receives Jarring Phone Call

Fellow RHOSLC cast member, Meredith Marks planned a three-day trip to Vail, Colorado, however, the trip took a major left turn before the ladies even left Salt Lake City. While Meredith and Mary Cosby would be meeting the cast in Vail, Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Lisa Barlow, Jennifer Nguyen, and of course, Jen Shah all departed from the Beauty Lab + Laser parking lot in what was meant to be a fun girls road trip.

Well, things went sour quickly when Jen Shah received a jarring phone call that led her to have Whitney Rose turn her mic off. After making eye contact with the camera and having whatever information she was fed set in, it was clear Jen was in some sort of pickle. Fans have wondered who was on the other end of the call, leaving many to assume it was Jen's husband, Sharrief Shah Sr., as she answered the call saying "Hi! Baby."

The FBI Showed Up 12 Minutes Later

After ending the call, Jen brokes some rather unfortunate news to her castmates, claiming that Sharrief was in the hospital experiencing internal bleeding and that she had to rush to the hospital to figure out what was going on. Viewers were quick to call out Jen for creating a story off the top of her head, however, the RHOSLC ladies were able to put two and two together when the FBI, NYPD, and Homeland Security showed up in search for Jen Shah.

"We're looking for Jen Shah!" the FBI was heard saying, leaving Whitney, Heather, Lisa, and Jennie in dismay. The reality of the situation quickly set in when Barlow shared that she didn't think the Sharrief internal bleeding story was true, and that was quickly confirmed when Whitney Rose connected having turned off her mic with her being in some sort of trouble.

The intense scene left viewers in utter shock, especially considering Jen Shah left the parking lot only 12 minutes before the feds showed up. RHOSLC fans are certain that the FBI had been following Shah for years, and after disclosing her location on the phone call, it didn't take much time for them to show up.

Fans are now declaring the series a "thriller," and rightfully so! "The anticipation around finally seeing the full cut of Jen Shah's escape before the feds showed up looking for her was sky high, but this moment completely lived up to it. The suspense, the editing, the music, the 12 minutes of it all. #RHOSLC is now a thriller!" @gibsonoma tweeted out.
