Following Jen Shah's arrest from last episode, the ladies finally discover that Jen has not only been taken into custody by Homeland Security and the NYPD but that she's been charged with fraud and money laundering. As the cast traveled from Salt Lake City to Vail, Colorado, their reactions were all caught on camera for the 6-hour long drive, and it was spectacular.
While Whitney Rose played the role of lead and laundering expert, Heather was feeling all the emotions, however, it seemed as if Lisa Barlow was doing far too much, leaving fans wondering if she knows more than she's leading on. After claiming Meredith Marks might know more about what's happening during a call to her husband, John, viewers are left feeling a little suspicious over what's really going on.
Lisa Barlow Breaks Down In Tears After Jen Shah Arrest
During tonight's episode, RHOSLC viewers were able to see the aftermath of Jen Shah's arrest, which included Homeland Security conducting a search at Jen Shah's residence, and news that Shah had been taken into custody. Well, as that was all happening, Shah's fellow cast members were being let in on her arrest for fraud and money laundering.
Whitney Rose was the first to receive the news, only to have a plethora of articles come in, leaving the women in utter shock! Lisa Barlow immediately broke down in tears, claiming she felt awful for Sharrieff Sr. and the kids. While the VIDA Tequila owner is usually calm and collected, fans were stunned to see her show such strong emotion to the news.
Lisa Questioned If Someone Tipped The FBI Off
Lisa Barlow went from tears to talking to her six lawyers, yes, six lawyers all while hopping onto a call with her husband, John Barlow. Fans and her fellow co-stars, including Whitney Rose, found her incessant convos with her lawyers strange, so much that Whitney wondered if Lisa knew more about what was going on than they did.
Not only were the calls suspicious, but during Lisa's chat with John, she thinks "Meredith might know something from other things," leaving us all confused. Barlow later brought up the idea that someone may have tipped off the authorities, which is how they knew where to find Jen prior to their departure.
It seems as if Lisa's comment about Meredith Marks and questions regarding tipping the feds off left viewers to wonder if he was insinuating that Marks may have had a hand in working with the feds. Meredith was quick to put any and all accusations coming her way to rest after tweeting out, "I think the FBI can figure out where to find someone they have been investigating for years. Especially someone on a worldwide television show," the RHOSLC star said.
What Does Lisa Barlow Really Know About Jen Shah?
Lisa Barlow's behavior may have been the perfect response to such a traumatic moment, or it may have been the worst! As the ladies all arrived in Vail to meet Meredith and Mary Cosby, they began to discuss the "surreal" events, as described by Lisa and Heather Gay; and things only got more strange!
After sharing stories regarding shoplifting, being red-flagged at Louis Vuitton, and paying things in cash, Heather shared a very odd story about Jen. After a get-together at Heather's house, Gay had booked an Uber for Jen on a Wednesday night around 11 pm, to only have Jen exit the Uber on an intersection minutes later.
Lisa Barlow went pale after Heather clarified the date and time, claiming she might know something before breaking into tears. While we'll have to wait for next week to see what she has to say, it appears as if Jen Shah's assistant, Murilo, is putting any rumor to rest. He claimed in a tweet, "I met up with Jen and picked her up from that Uber because she was uncomfortable with the Uber driver" he said. So, what really happened? Only time will tell!
