Rihanna and James Corden have teamed up ahead of her fashion show this year, and fans didn't exactly like it.

The singer and entrepreneur presented her Savage x Fenty Vol. 3 fashion show on September 24, with Corden being her personal assistant for the day.

Before the big day, the official Twitter account for The Late Late Show said that Corden had a “new gig” as Rihanna’s “personal assistant at her Savage x Fenty Vol. 3” show in Los Angeles. Fans were able to get a preview of the show during Corden's program, which aired on September 23, one day before the fashion show made it to Prime Video.

James Corden Provoked The Ire Of Rihanna's Fans

"TONIGHT! James gets a new gig as Rihanna's personal assistant at her #SAVAGEXFENTYSHOW," the tweet reads.

Some fans, however, were unimpressed with Corden trying to get on Rihanna's good side.

"We will never be free from this man," one person wrote on Twitter.

"He better work peasant," another jumped in.

"Very excited to see her. Can we only see her without seeing you cause...." was another comment.

"If you were trumps pa during the first campaign he never would've been elected," someone said.

"James you really need to learn what she said! It will be helpful for you!" one person also wrote referencing Rihanna's speech about inclusivity in her fashion line.

Rihanna discussed the importance of inclusivity of her brand with Corden.

"I'd be an idiot to want to exclude anyone. I don't care what size you are, what race you are, what religion you come from. I want you to feel like you are represented here," she said.

A lesson that Corden himself hasn't quite learned yet, at least according to his detractors.

Corden And BTS: Why Army Took Aim At 'The Late Late Show' Host

And it's not just Rihanna's fans. Corden has recently managed to upset BTS Army with a few remarks on the South-Korean group's United Nations visit.

Talking about the South Korean supergroup, who were visiting the UN as a special envoy to South Korean President Moon Jae-in, Corden described their visit as "unusual."

"The United Nations General Assembly kicked off this morning in New York City, and it started with some pretty unusual visitors – BTS were there," the 43-year-old TV personality started the segment with.

He continued, "Lots of people were saying, why are BTS there? The world leaders have no choice but to take BTS seriously. At the end of the day, BTS has one of the largest armies on planet Earth."

"Historic moment. It actually marks the first time that 15-year-old girls everywhere found themselves wishing that they were Secretary-General António Guterres," he finally added.
