With the Queen of Drag herself, RuPaul's influence catapulting drag to the mainstream, the show has seen some of the best seasons, including those from across the pond in Canada, Australia, and Thailand. So, which season of RPDR comes out on top? Let's dive in!
'RuPaul's Drag Race' Legacy
RuPaul has certainly revolutionized the world of drag and ball culture, bringing it to the mainstream with the help of Ru's hit show, RuPaul's Drag Race.
After premiering back in 2009, RPDR has since gone on to become a smash hit, and rightfully so! While the U.S version of the series has run 13 seasons long, it has created a ripply in reality TV, launching a number of international versions of the competition!
With names such as Bianca Del Rio, Tatianna, Trixie Mattel, and Jinx Mansoon reigning from Drag Race and being recognized across the country, their influence now extends borders and has led to the creation of Canada's take on the show, titled Canada's Drag Race, which began last year!
In addition to Canada, a number of other countries have followed suit, including Australia, Spain, and Thailand, to name a few.
As if regular seasons weren't enough, RuPaul himself upped the ante when it came to the show and began launching all-star seasons! The very first All-Stars spin-off took place back in 2012 where Chad Michaels took home the win.
