Ryan Gosling is one of the most talented actors today, and from comedies to dramas, he's certainly had his fair share of on-screen romances. While his famous partner is Emma Stone, he's definitely had others that have made fans swoon, including his own in-real-life wife, Eva Mendes.

With so many great romances and ladies to choose from, it's time to settle the score for once and for all. Here are 10 of Ryan Gosling's most popular movie love interests, ranked, by how much everyone else would totally fall in love with them.

10 Molly Stearns (The Ides Of March, 2011)

This thriller is a political drama with dirty politics, corruption, romance, and manipulation. Stephen Meyers (Gosling) is helping with a campaign, and falls for an intern, Molly Stearns (Evan Rachel Wood).

Their love story is tragic and dark. From affairs to abortion to overdosing, there is a lot of darkness between these two, and it's safe to say it doesn't end well. Molly needed a light, but she didn't find one.

9 Grace Faraday (Gangster Squad, 2013)

This crime drama is probably one of the least popular flicks with both Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. Directed by Ruben Fleischer, this flick is a 1950s gangster and cop flick.

Gosling is a cop, and Stone is Grace Faraday – the bombshell arm candy of a mob boss. Of course, Gosling's character steals her heart, and their romance is a stunning 1950's ending where they drive off into the sunset. Grace has a lot of heart and spunk, but she is far from the best Gosling has had on-screen.

8 Romina (The Place Beyond The Pines, 2012)

This crime drama is a thrilling and intense tale. Gosling plays Luke, a motorcycle stunt driver who turns to crime to provide for his lover and newborn. Eva Mendes (his real-life wifey) plays his on-screen romance, Romina.

She's a strong mother and woman, and the peaks of their romance is definitely adorable. However, she could never accept Luke for his life, and that puts her further down on this list.

7 Irene (Drive, 2011)

This crime drama is definitely not one for the faint-hearted. Gosling plays an unnamed getaway driver, who gets caught up in his neighbor's (and lover's) past when her husband returns from prison – and he's still troubled by the mob.

Carey Mulligan plays Irene, his lover and neighbor. She's as sweet as pie, and is a powerful and strong mother. Of course, she's also the reason that everything goes wrong, so it's hard to love her too much.

6 Joi (Blade Runner 2049, 2017)

Those that have seen this flick might be wondering how an artificial intelligence can make her way so far up this list. Well, it's partly because Ana de Armas is so incredibly stunning and talented, and also because Joi is selfless and kind.

She might not be 'real', but she is somehow more human than most of the characters in this apocalyptic thriller. She keeps 'K' (Gosling) grounded, and it's impossible for fans to not be mesmerized by her.

5 Allie Calhoun (The Notebook, 2004)

This is unarguably one of the most popular romance films out there, let alone just for Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. Allie and Noah come from totally different backgrounds, but their passion for love exceeds all their differences.

This romance story had everyone crying over the pure love that it has, and both of these characters are dynamic. However, as far as love interests go, Allie, nor Noah, are exactly the best out there. Still, she's pretty high on the list.

4 Cindy (Blue Valentine, 2010)

This drama romance is one of the more serious romantic roles Ryan Gosling has taken on. He stars with Michelle Williams, and the two play a married couple. This flick follows their marriage over years, and how their lives has gotten them to where they are.

They both play characters with difficult family backgrounds, and this beautiful romance flick is about finding the best in each other. It's pure and honest, and Cindy is a tender woman that every fan fell head over heels for.

3 Janet Armstrong (First Man, 2018)

This is one of two Damien Chazelle-directed flicks on the list, and this one is a biography drama based on the life and career of Neil Armstrong (Ryan Gosling). His wife, Janet, is played beautifully by Claire Foy.

This flick is far from American propaganda, but tells a tragic and deep story about the cost of the space mission. Janet is Neil's rock, and she supports her family and her husband through it all. She definitely deserves some recognition.

2 Hannah (Crazy, Stupid, Love, 2011)

It shouldn't be a surprise that many of Emma Stone's roles have made it onto this list. These two are a stellar pair on-screen, and every single flick is memorable and wonderful.

In this romantic comedy, there are so many twists and turns, it's bound to keep all viewers laughing from start to finish. Gosling plays Jacob, a womanizer, while Stone plays Hannah, a quirky and intelligent gal – that steals his heart. She stole all viewers' hearts, too.

1 Mia (La La Land, 2016)

This Oscar-winning flick is a stunning, hilarious, and dramatic masterpiece by Damien Chazelle. Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone once again take the leading roles, and play a pianist and an actress in Hollywood, trying to make it big.

Mia is ambitious, but she's also charming, witty, and funny. She has a heart of gold, and the ending to this flick broke everyone's hearts to pieces. This movie is a kind of fairy tale, and Mia is the princess everyone would love to have.
