Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Reynolds has enjoyed a wonderfully successful career. The forty-five-year-old actor is well known for his roles in movies such as Green Lantern, The Proposal, and also the Deadpool franchise. After finishing filming on his new Apple TV+ movie Spirited, Reynolds took to instagram to share with fans his thoughts. Humbly, he wrote: “Not sure I’d have been ready to say yes to a film this challenging even three years ago. Singing, dancing and playing in the sandbox with Will Ferrell made a whole lotta dreams come true. And this is my second film with the great @octaviaspencer.”
Reynolds then shocked some fans by sharing his decision to take an extended break after finishing this project, going on to say: “Perfect time for a little sabbatical from movie making. I’m gonna miss every second working with this obscenely gifted group of creators and artists. These days, kindness matters as much as talent. I’ve been lucky to work with folks who are flush with both.”

He may be taking a break from acting, but duty calls for Ryan as he continues to run his football club. The actor purchased Wrexham AFC together with Rob McElhenney, and the two have been busy making decisions about the club's running during the difficult pandemic period.

Ryan and his co-owner recently gave a special message to club supporters to celebrate the first anniversary of their purchase of the Welsh club.
The message read: "To the supporters, staff, players, friends, and family of Wrexham AFC.
"It is difficult to believe that it is a year ago today, we became the owners of the Club and pledged to be good custodians.
"The year has gone in the blink of an eye, we have learned so much and more importantly feel like we are fully integrated into everything Wrexham.
"There can be no doubt that the highlight of the year was our visit in October. The reception, experience and general feel of warmth moved both of us beyond anything we could have possibly imagined and made us even more determined to be successful.
"We, ably supported by those who work for the Club, have already achieved so much but we know there is much more that needs doing if we are to meet our goal of growing the team, securing a return to the EFL in front of increased attendances at an improved stadium while making a positive difference to the wider community in Wrexham."
In addition to teasing a new announcement about a decision for the club, the two owners also treated fans to a tipple at a local pub. Reynolds and his partners offered to pick up a huge bar tab for revelers - which included the cost of over 300 G&Ts - and the kind offering has proved popular with local fans who appreciated the kind gesture.
