In the meantime, Ryan Seacrest has started his stint on the show. This is a dream role for Ryan, and we can say the same about his whopping salary. The host is set to pocket $28 million per season, which is absolutely insane. The show does have a packed schedule, but that's still quite the sum. The host admits he could not sleep the night prior due to excitement in the new role. Seacrest revealed he feels a lot of pressure to take on such an iconic hosting role that was perfected by Sajak, but has prepared for the gig since he was young.

“I’ve been watching the show all my life, and I’ve been watching it as much as I can as an adult and as a child,” Seacrest tells People.

“I think that this is a show that means so much to a lot of people. It’s a part of their lives, they like to get together at the end of the day and try and solve the puzzles. And for me, it’s a chance to give away cash and prizes and work with the legendary Vanna White.”

Vana White signed a new two-year deal with Wheel of Fortune, said to be worth a lot more than her annual $3 million from the prior years.
