It seems crazy today, but back in 1984, Sarah Jessica Parker and Robert Downey Jr. were inseparable for nearly eight years. The union only lasted until 1991, and Downey Jr. even got married the next year (though that marriage lasted a bit longer than his couplehood with SJP, it, too, fizzled out by the mid-2000s).

The two have met up in the years since their split, and RDJ actually met Parker's husband and said he respects him and is happy for the couple.
