And just like that, the fallout continues for actor Chris Noth. Accusations of sexual misconduct and assault have caused a swift backlash for the Sex and the City star. CBS quickly dropped the 67-year-old from The Equalizer. His tequila company also lost a $12 million acquisition deal, and the actor's talent agency booted him. Now the ladies from Sex and the City are breaking their silence to offer support for the women who have come forward.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, And Cynthia Nixon All Came Together To Offer Support To The Accused

Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie Bradshaw in the HBO franchise, has issued a joint statement with costars Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon addressing the allegations.

“We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth,” the statement read. “We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.”

Noth starred as Mr. Big, the central love interest of Carrie Bradshaw throughout the original series. He reprised his role in 2008’s Sex and the City movie which saw the characters finally tie the knot. He appeared in the HBO Max Revival of the series, And Just Like That…, but the writers wrote him out of the show by having his character killed off in the premiere for unrelated reasons.

Accusations Against Chris Noth Started Last Week With More Women Coming Forward Over Time

Last week The Hollywood Reporter published the claims of two women who accused Noth of sexual assault. North responded to the allegations, which date back to 2004 and 2015, telling Us Weekly the claims were “categorically false.

“These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago. No always means no, that is a line I did not cross,” he said. “The encounters were consensual. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”

A third woman came forward a day after the initial story broke. She accused Noth of sexually assaulting her while she was a hostess at a Manhattan restaurant. Law and Order actress Zoe Lister-Jones has also come forward to call out Noth for being a 'sexual predator.'

The accusations were first reported as the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That…, began airing. One of the women who accused Noth of assaulting her said witnessing the reprisal of his Mr. Big character promoted her to come forward.
