Fox eye surgery, which is also known as 'cat eye surgery' is a trend that has exploded within Hollywood, according to Beauty Crew. The surgery is supposed to replicate the almond-shaped and upturned eyes of the likes of Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid; both of whom have been accused of receiving the treatment with no confirmation from either star as to whether the rumors are remotely accurate.
According to Beauty Crew, there are numerous ways one can replicate this eye look and not all of them are surgical. The surgical options are inherently risky. While chances are always taken in the world of plastic surgery, anything involving the eyes is particularly tricky.
In the case of fox eye surgery, the outer corner of the upper eyelid is lifted and pulled toward the temples. A wrong move and the patient could have their eyes/eyesight damaged. According to The New York Post, some have complained about their surgeries being botched.
