Almost two months after Travis Barker offered to help his ex-wife Shanna Moakler with her pregnancy, the reality television star is now revealing what she thinks of him and Kourtney Kardashian trying to have a baby. Although she has shown mixed feelings for the pair's relationship in the past, media outlets report that she has been supportive of their journey.
The star recently told US Weekly that although she doesn't know as much as media outlets thought she would, she thinks it's great that the two of them are trying. “I think if that’s a desire between the two of them then that’s fantastic,” said Moakler. “I don’t have any issues with that. Their personal relationship is really nothing I get involved in.”
Unfortunately, Moakler admitted in March that her pregnancy ended up being a false positive, and that she was not pregnant after all. She was reportedly taking a weight loss pill that included the hormone that is produced during pregnancy. Although this is the case, she told media outlets that she is open to having more children.
Moakler Has Had Mixed Feelings About The Couple Since They First Got Together
After Barker and Kardashian announced their relationship in 2021, Moakler showed her support for the two. However, she's also made comments about their relationship that sound like she's shading their relationship. When Moakler discussed their relationship with People, the former beauty queen confirmed no ill-will between her and Barker. However, she also said that she thought their kissing was odd. "I'm very much over my ex. It's been a long time. However, do I think some of the PDA that he's doing with her is weird? [Yes]."
In the same interview, she also said that she wanted him to be happy, and that she's glad he is. "I'm really, genuinely happy for him. I want the father of my kids to be happy and to have a partner that makes him happy... and a better father," she said. She could also see that she and Barker's children like Kardashian, which she said is all that matters.
Moakler Doesn't Know About Their Journey As Much As People Think She Does
People have expected Moakler to know a lot about their journey, especially since she and Barker successfully co-parent their two kids, Landon and Alabama. However, she admitted otherwise. “All I know is kind of, like, what everyone knows,” she told US Weekly. She also revealed that she knew the two were going through complications with IVF.
More information regarding their pregnancy journey is coming to light after the release of The Kardashians, in which Kardashian has described their journey. “It hasn’t been the most amazing experience,” said Kardashian. She also admitted that the medication she is on has put her into menopause, and that social media has thought she was pregnant due to "weight gain."
Moakler recently finished seventh place in Celebrity Big Brother, and is continuing to serve as executive producer of the Miss Nevada USA pageant. However, she is continuing to live the single life after her nasty split with Matthew Rondeau. As of this publication, it is unknown if she has any upcoming television show appearances.
