Getting through a scene wasn't always easy, former cast members like Laura Spencer admitted to this. That was especially true when a moment of magic would take place on the show.

Mayim Bialik Credits Not Being 'Overly Sentimental' For Her Chemistry With Jim Parsons

Mayim Bialik and Jim Parsons together turned out to be a major reason for The Big Bang Theory's success. Behind the scenes, Bialik credited their chemistry as being something as basic as not being overly sentimental, that put the two on the same page.

"Jim and I had a lot of nice moments together on set and I think one of the things that worked so well for us as actor partners, and maybe as producing partners too, is that we’re not overly sentimental as humans, which I think is helpful,” Bialik, told Us Weekly .

“It was helpful in our acting and also in the way we kind of processed ending a decade together.”

Despite the lack of emotions between the two, Mayim further revealed that shooting the final scene together was still quite difficult.

“So we were not an overly sentimental couple, but obviously it was very emotional filming our last scene. Very, very emotional, and also just to think of what that played out like for everybody to get to see us having our last scene.”

During the 12 seasons, the series experienced several memorable moments. However, according to Kaley Cuoco, few match the one Sheldon and Amy experienced on-set.

Kaley Cuoco Revealed The Sheldon And Amy Train Scene Received A 10-Minute Ovation

Alongside TV Line, Kaley Cuoco discussed some of the most memorable moments on the show. According to Cuoco, one moment will always stand out as a fan, and that was the kiss between Sheldon and Amy on the train.

Cuoco recalled the moment and what a thundering ovation it received from the audience.

"One of the biggest reactions was for when Sheldon and Amy (played by Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik) kissed on the train, and our engagement was huge too. We just sat there for 10 minutes while they were cheering and clapping. I had chills. I feel like I’m a viewer of the show too, so I was excited. I really wanted that to happen, too, for “Lenny,” for Leonard and Penny."

Cuoco further revealed that she got a strong reaction alongside Leonard during the 'Strawberry Pop Tart' scene. However, despite the ovation, Cuoco wasn't all that happy with the fact that she flubbed her lines a few times...

"They wrote that Pop Tart line at the very last minute and I couldn’t remember it! I kept flubbing it, making everyone laugh, to the point that I was like, “OK, this is taking the charm out of the scene!” [Laughs] But it ended up being so cute, and the audience was going crazy, standing and cheering…. We had to keep telling them to calm down, but they had waited so long for it."

Yet another memorable moment on the sitcom.

Mayim Bialik And Jim Parsons Continued Their Working Relationship After The Big Bang Theory

Given their chemistry, it would only make sense that Mayim and Jim would reunite for another project following TBBT, Call Me Kat.

Still, Bialik revealed alongside Cinema Blend to not expecting it, which made it all that much better.

"When Jim brought it to me, I thought he was just asking my opinion because we were friends and we have a lot of similar tastes. I was like, ‘That sounds great. I totally think that’s a great idea!’ He was like, ‘No, Mayim. I’m telling you about this because I want you to play her."

"So I was totally shocked that Jim Parsons wanted to still work with me. I think I’m very annoying, but he apparently thinks I’m not as annoying as I think I am, because he wanted to work with me."

Renewed for a third season alongside FOX, clearly the chemistry is still there between the two.
