With only a couple episodes left to go, we're nearing the end of our Season 19 adventures with the Brown family on Sister Wives. A lot has happened to our favorite failed polygamy family.
- Meri Brown officially moved away from the albatross known as Coyote Pass and Flagstaff.
- Christine Brown got engaged to the real love of her life, David Woolley.
- Janelle Brown is looking towards her future and telling Kody she's just not that into him anymore.
- And Kody and Robyn Brown continue to act like victims in a situation that was entirely their doing.
Oh, and most of the older kids don't speak to Kody.

So yes, there's been a lot packed into this season so far, and yet we still have many unanswered questions: Who's been controlling the finances? What is going to happen to Coyote Pass? Will the other wives ever get their fair share, or will they have to lawyer up?
Let's dive in to this week's episode, "Put Your House In Order," to see if we can find the answers to any of these pressing questions. But first, in case you want to catch up on the Browns, we've recapped all the episodes here:

Meri Remains Confused, But Goes To London
The show picks up where we left off last week, with Kody saying a tearful goodbye to his ever-loyal first wife, Meri. Kody is surprisingly emotional, which confuses Meri, since he acted like she was a burden the last years of their marriage. But Kody suddenly loves Meri, probably because she's giving him the least amount of trouble during their divorce.
"Thanks for being cool."
Kody views this as a moment of moving forward, but he admits he's feeling grief. He says this is "permission to move on," but he hopes for a friendship with Meri. Meri's best friend, Jenn, pipes up that Meri is not accepting any new friend applications. We love a girl who has her friend's back.
After Kody leaves, Meri and Jenn discuss Kody's emotional goodbye. In a confessional, Meri expresses doubt that she made the right decision.
No, Meri, don't let Kody's lack of emotional maturity gaslight you into thinking you made the wrong choice. You didn't. He just doesn't know how to respond to rejection.
Meri says this has been a long time coming, so she doesn't understand how Kody can be so upset. Jenn is a good friend to Meri, assuring her she made the right choice. Jenn confirms that Kody always favored Robyn, so this is the best move for Meri.
"When Kody said that he plans on walking Meri down the aisle, that is not happening. If anyone is walking Meri down the aisle, it's me. Not Kody. That's all," says Jenn.
Browns Celebrate Savannah's Graduation Via Flash Mob
Back in Utah at Christine and David's new house, they're having a graduation party for Savannah, Janelle and Kody's daughter. Most of Christine and Janelle's kids are in attendance. Kody wasn't invited, and he says he never expected to be. David seems to be integrating well with the family, holding babies and looking at photos of the kids when they were younger with Janelle. Christine says they've lived together for two months, and David has a great relationship with Truely.
Janelle sits down with Maddie and Caleb to discuss their plans to buy land in North Carolina. Janelle says she still has to fight with Kody over her share of the Arizona property. Their names are not all on the title of the property, so they are relying on the fairness of Kody to make sure they all get their due. But Janelle says she's prepared to fight and she's lawyered up.
They agree that Janelle will fight for four acres of Coyote Pass, which she can then sell and move to North Carolina with.
After a commercial break, we drop down on Meri, who's standing in front of Buckingham Palace, of all places. Meri took a solo trip to London, and she says she views it as a moment of freedom and empowerment.
"The world is my oyster."
Meri records a video of herself at Stonehenge, and she cries as she acknowledges that this is something she's always wanted to do, but never thought she would. She can't believe she's there, and she gets emotional about it.
We're loving this new era for Meri Brown.
Back in Utah, the family does a flash mob dance for Savannah at her party, because of course they do. But, none of the kids learned the moves, so they just start dancing randomly and pretty soon, everyone's dancing in the kitchen, rom-com style. Ahh, life without Kody seems so peaceful.
Kody Admits He Doesn't Care What Matters To Wives
After commercials, we're back in Flagstaff. Meri drove down for the day so that she could write Kody a check so that he can pay off the property. They're all contributing to get the last part paid off, so they can resolve this Coyote Pass issue once and for all.
Meri goes to Kody and Robyn's house, and Robyn says she's been looking forward to the day they paid off Coyote Pass for so long. Meri tells them about their trip, and Robyn comments that she's always wanted to go to London. Kody probably won't take her. Maybe she can go after she leaves him, if that day ever comes.
Meri tells them about Stonehenge, which Kody sort of scoffs at. Meri says it's only been her dream to go for the past 25 years, which is a testament to how broken their marriage was.
"Oh gosh. I'm a guy. There are certain things that I'm going to remember, and then there are certain things that just aren't going to matter to me, even if they do matter to you. Sometimes, it's just selective memory," says Kody with a laugh.

Sister Wives’ Maddie Brown Details Estranged Relationship With Dad Kody: Even Her Children Wouldn't "Recognize Him"
Maddie Brown is not interested in rekindling her relationship with her dad.
In a confessional, Janelle says she sent in her quarter amount of what's owed on Coyote Pass. She says it's a huge weight that has been lifted for her. She says that according to the way their contract was written, they could have potentially lost the property because of the way it was used as collateral for the loan. This doesn't make much sense, but hey, Kody handled the loan.
Meri brings up the next step, which is dividing up the land into parcels and giving each sister wife their piece. Here's how Coyote Pass is currently divided up: Robyn has four acres, Janelle has four acres, Meri has a lot, Kody has a lot, and Meri and Kody share a lot. Can someone explain how this makes any sense? No? Okay, moving on.
Janelle said it was all fine by her, but Meri says she wants an appraiser to come and value the full property.
Atta girl, Meri. Get that appraisal.
What To Do With Coyote Pass?
Kody then discusses the idea of someone coming in and buying the entire property, in which case, they would divide up the profit four ways. But Robyn says she doesn't want to sell her share of the land. She still wants to build on Coyote Pass, and she hopes Meri and Janelle eventually build out there too. That doesn't seem realistic, Robyn.
Meri tells Kody that Janelle warned her she needed to protect herself. She rolls her eyes slightly when she says this, because deep down, Meri still wants Kody's approval. Kody and Robyn seem offended that Janelle would warn Meri, but these two are delusional, so of course they would be offended.
Meri says she also doesn't understand why the property was divided the way it was. Robyn says Kody did the dividing, but it was only meant to be temporary, until the land was paid off. So now Meri owns the least amount of land, but she hopes that when everything is said and done, she'll still be treated fairly.
"I hope it doesn't get ugly."
In a confessional, Janelle says she's relieved it's paid off, but now they need to fight over how to divide it. Janelle doesn't trust Kody ("He's been kind of an a** about the property"). Meri repeats that she wants the land appraised. Kody seems to push back at the idea, saying they'd have to find somebody who was a land appraiser, but he says it like he's asking for a magician to come and magically divide the land. Meri softly says she's sure they have land appraisers in Flagstaff, but Kody still acts like she's asking for a miracle.
Robyn says that she's totally supportive of having the land appraised, but Kody still doesn't seem convinced. Wonder why?
Kody says as far as he knows, Janelle wants to sell it, or at least sell her share of it. Kody has mixed emotions about building on the property because it was his dream to build their plural family utopia and now it's just him and Robyn.

Why Sister Wives Fans Are Totally Over Christine
At the beginning of Season 19, fans were happy for Christine, but she's "getting on their nerves."
Janelle says she asked Kody to buy her out a while back, but he didn't have the money. She says she doesn't know what she'll do if they can't sell it, because then it means she'd have to be neighbors with Kody and Robyn, which she does not want.
Kody says he'd like it if Meri built a house out there, but Meri says she has no intention of doing that. Meri laughs as she says she will have no involvement in what happens to the rest of Coyote Pass, and again, Kody and Robyn are confused. But Meri just laughs and laughs, saying Kody must have forgotten they aren't married anymore. Robyn looks like she's on the verge of tears, and Kody looks somber.
Nobody wants to live next to you, Kody and Robyn! How much more clear does that need to be?
In a confessional, Meri says she is no longer part of the family unit, she's no longer married to Kody, so she needs to look out for her best interests. She says she doesn't want it to get to the point where she needs to hire a lawyer, but she's willing to do so.
Kody Gets Nostalgic In Vegas
After a commercial break, we see Kody getting ready for a boys trip with his brothers in Vegas as a sort of joint Christmas gift for them. But Kody says they won't be drinking or gambling. The "naughtiest" thing he will do is curse.
Kody then introduces each of his brothers. The oldest, Scott, has a plural family. Another brother, Michael, isn't involved in polygamy.
Kody, ever the showman, shows up to meet them with his hair in a hairnet, since they always tease him about his luscious locks.
"If I don't dry it right, the curls don't happen."
His brothers joke that Kody's hair has always been important to him. Kody tells them not to be jealous, to which Scott emphatically responds, "We're not!"
Kody's Hair Through The Years
Kody then admits he colors his hair, and the boys head out to visit the old cul-de-sac the Browns used to live on when they lived in Vegas.
Kody reminisces about the good times they had in Las Vegas, all living together on the same street. He says they were fully accepted by the community, and it was the best time for the family. Moving to Arizona was really the end for them. That, and Covid, tore the Brown family apart.
Kody forlornly stands at the gates to the community as sad music plays. He's an outsider now, but he says he has good memories of the area.
The brothers ask if Janelle is willing to reconcile, and Kody says she's not. He says he keeps asking her to, but she won't. She's much happier now. Then Kody says he's found a comfort and security he's never known with Robyn, because he no longer has to worry about the other three. But Kody also complains about Janelle and Christine "trash-talking" him and Robyn, despite saying they want to move on.
Oh, Kody. They're going to trash talk both of you until the day they die. Get used to it.
Kody then stresses that Meri is now his favorite ex-wife and he will always answer her call. It's sad because deep down, Meri probably loves that.
Kody's come to a place of acceptance. He says maybe this is how it was all supposed to be. He says it's sad because of the kids and all, but he's accepted it. And he says he'll never bring another wife into the family. He's done with plural marriage. Probably a good call.

Fans Can't Get Over Janelle's Hilarious Sister Wives Merch Shading Kody
"Alright, friends. You asked for it."
Kody makes a show of taking one last look at the Vegas property, and then they leave.
Kody reflects on what he's learned the past three years. He says that in polygamy, you can never have emotional intimacy with all the wives. But that's what he has with Robyn now, and he won't give that up for anything.
