Snoop Dogg continues to enjoy worldwide fame. However, in 2012, his fame in Norway took a bit of a hit. Snoop was detained for marijuana possession. He arrived with eight grams. Still, Snoop was allowed to perform at the festival. Once he flew back, Snoop was made aware that the country had barred him for two years. It wasn't a lot of marijuana, but still enough for Snoop to get banned. The rapper's team was said to be okay with the decision. "Holger Hagesaeter, the rapper's legal representative in Norway, told The Associated Press on Saturday that his client "can live with the decision" and has no immediate plans to appeal it," CBC wrote at the time, discussing Snoop's denied entry into Norway.

Adding to it, Snoop's amount of cash also raised some concerns. He was carrying more cash than the legal limit, and faced a small slap on the wrist with $8,600 fine.
