Southern Charm Season 10, Episode 3 Recap: Ruff Encounters

Viewers have already learned so much in just the first two episodes of the tenth season of Southern Charm. Austen Kroll, Taylor Ann Green, and Shep Rose, are in brand-new relationships, newbie Molly O'Connell used to sext Craig Conover, and Venita Aspen and JT Thomas have developed a bond no one really saw coming.

The end of Episode 2 saw a selective few coming together to Miss Patricia Altschul's home for an Easter dinner that turned out to be more than just a hearty meal surrounded by plastic bunnies. Craig drops a bomb about a nasty comment JT allegedly made about Miss Patricia (which fans are furious about) and details that JT is also spreading gossip about him and Madison.

JT Thomas Becomes The Talk Of The Town

The start to Episode 3 sees Jarett "JT" Thomas attempting to write a formal apology letter to Patricia Altschul after the whole cane debacle at the Carolina Cup. His letter reads: "Please accept this apology for my lack of respect at the Carolina Cup. My intent was meant as a sign of inclusion and solidarity, but admittedly, I most certainly missed the mark. I apologize for that."

Later in the episode, Miss Patricia receives his letter, and commends JT for putting in the effort to write out a letter of apology. (Good thing he listened to his mama!) Although she still calls him "kind of like an annoying nat."

When fans were first introduced to JT in Season 9, they learned that he has Type-1 diabetes. After his resignation from the show, fans became concerned about his dramatic weight loss, which he shared in a photo on Instagram. The former reality star is now documenting his diabetes journey through a 100-day challenge.

The next scene sees Shep Rose and Austen Kroll meeting up at a Charleston restaurant where they discuss just how much they adore their new partners. (At Bravo Fan Fest, Shep admits he's single, but there will be a lot to unpack about their short-lived romance as the season moves forward). The two friends also discuss Craig Conover and how he seems to have become distant from them. In Episode 1, viewers will recall Craig wanting to distance himself from Shep because of his drinking, stating that it was bad for his business.

"The thing about Craig is he's worn so many hats ... he wanted to be a lawyer, and now he's trying to be like, a Martha Stewart."

Now, at Craig's home, Madison LeCroy arrives, and we see her adorably matching outfits with Paige DeSorbo. Again, we hear about JT, but this time, they discuss his absurd allegation that he had an affair with Madison. While no one believes JT, Madison shared that she was surprised at the affair rumor because she was once "his ally." His accusations felt like "a slap in the face." JT blew it, and no one wants to be on Madison's bad side.

Viewers then see Rodrigo Reyes and his husband, Tyler Dugas, arrive at a pet store. And, it's great to see Rodrigo getting more air time. The two are throwing a party for their pup, Bella, and inviting everyone to their Doggy Parton Birthday Party. However, the one person that won't be on the doggy guest list: JT. As Tyler put it, JT's "in the dog house."

We are then taken to Miss Patricia's sprawling Charleston home where, as mentioned earlier, she reads JT's letter.

Her son, Whitney Sudler-Smith, is having a difficult time believing JT would ever call his mom a b****, knowing that he has constantly defended women (just watch Season 9). In fact, Whitney is well-versed in Craig's ability to be a good, no "great liar," as the pillow maker once stated back in 2017.

Sienna Evans Comes To Charleston, Salley Carson Really, Really Despises Taylor Ann Green's Boyfriend

Fans finally meet the woman Shep is "enthralled" by—Sienna Evans aka Miss Bahamas. Besides having Lil' Craig fart on her throughout the night, she seems to be settling in quite well in Charleston. It's interesting to see Shep over-the-moon about Sienna. She is beautiful, and it's as if Shep is entranced by her. Speaking of moving to the Bahamas, getting married, and rasing children? Is this the same Shep?

Viewers also meet the last newbie of the bunch. Salley Carson, a spine surgery robot operator, hangs out with Molly O'Connell and the two discuss the former's past with Taylor Ann Green's men. She admitted to hooking up with Shep, and dating Taylor's current boyfriend, Gaston Rojas, for three months. Salley is very anti-Gaston after he cheated on her.

Salley Carson has a history with starring in reality TV. She had controversial appearances on both Season 26 of The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise. She also starred in Season 2 of Southern Hospitality.

"I obviously don't have anything nice to say, but that's my story..."

Despite her distaste for her ex, Salley hopes that she and Taylor can "bond." Does she mean bond over sleeping with the same men?

A Doggy Parton Birthday Party

The Doggy Parton birthday party is here and everyone and their pups come to celebrate in their best Dolly Parton-inspired ensembles, or should we say Bret Michaels? Taylor arrives solo after Gaston cannot make it, while Austen introduces his girlfriend, Audrey, to the crew. Some of the last people to arrive include Salley and Molly, and it certainly is an awkward encounter between the former and Taylor, but, they surprisingly, greet each other in a calm and collective manner.

In a confessional, Taylor states, "Yeah, it's an awkward conversation, you don't have to point out that it's awkward." Salley is then heard stating in her own interview, "Okay, I f***** Shep, cool, that was your ex. You f****** Gaston, cool, that was my ex, we're even."

During the party, viewers also see Leva discussing JT's b**** comment with Taylor, Rodrigo, and Tyler. Leva is another cast member who also has a hard time believing that word left JT's lips.

Last to arrive to the party are Shep, Sienna, and of course, Lil' Craig.

"Not what I expected, she's way to pretty for Shep. Here's Taylor dressed like Bret Michaels and then you have a supermodel walk in," Madison says.

Taylor finds herself in yet another awkward confrontation. When she finally meets Sienna for the very first time, she asks if the model has heard good things, to which Sienna states, "mostly." Ouch.

In another conversation, Shep is seen talking to Salley, his ex-fling, and the two gossip over how much they equally hate Gaston. Are we sensing jealously from Shep?

Despite the awkwardness all around, the doggy parton party seemed to be a success. For the pups, at least.

Madison Is "Blindsided" By JT's Allegations

The end of Episode 3 sees Madison meeting with JT to put an end to his bizarre affair rumors. His allegations were downright wrong, and they truly "blindsided" Madison, who admits, "I thought we were friends," in a confessional. Madison wastes no time and gets straight into it, calling JT out about his serious lie that could have hurt her marriage.

"I'm sorry JT, but are you f***** blind? Have you seen my husband, you really think for one second I would have an affair with you?" She tells him, to which JT replies that she "mean girled him."

However, when Madison brings up the fact that JT called Miss Patricia a b****, JT truly seems stunned. It still remains unclear if he ever really called Pat that word or if Craig was just making up one big lie. We are leaning towards the latter.

Madison walks off, leaving JT and his cane alone. She also seemed really hurt by JT. "He made a huge mistake. I don't think he realized he lost a good friend." Did hurting Madison end up ruining his relationships with the other cast members?
