Meghan Markle's time in the royal family was short. She and Prince Harry stepped down from their duties and left the United Kingdom just two years after marrying, and it was clear after their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey that the problems between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the family ran deeper than people knew.

Prince Harry Denies Wanting To Move Back To UK Amid Family's Health Crisis
Given the paperwork Harry recently filed, he and Meghan Markle have no plans to leave the United States.
One of her Suits co-stars, Wendell Pierce, who played her father, decided to speak about a conversation he had with Meghan right before her wedding, and a warning he issued about how he thought her life would change for the worse.
Wendell Pierce Warned Meghan Markle Before Her Wedding
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding was a joyful event. No one could have predicted it would lead to one of the most infamous feuds in the royal family's history. Well, one person could. Wendell Pierce, who worked with Meghan Markle in Suits, had a feeling that things could end badly for the couple once they married, and he shared his worries with the Duchess of Sussex.
During an episode of Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?, the actor revealed he warned his friend and co-star about what she was getting into.
"It was the last night of working and I said, 'Meghan, your life is going to change, and you’re going to be in a bubble," he told her, "'but just always remember, no matter what, I’m your friend — you have lots of friends.'"
Apparently, this was a worry most of the Suits cast shared and talked about.
"We’re always thinking about you, we’ll always be there for you. And you know, no matter where you are, always know you have a friend in me," the actor went on.
Wendell Pierce played Meghan's father in the show, and it seems the paternal protective instincts rubbed off on him. Hopefully, Meghan Markle knows she can still count on him if she needs someone.
Life In The Royal Family Wasn't How Meghan Imagined, Experts Claim
Wendell Pierce wasn't the only one who believed Meghan Markle had unrealistic expectations regarding her marriage to a Prince, though unlike royal experts, he wasn't skeptical about her motivations. As far as the actor was concerned, she was happy and in love and couldn't see what it could cost her.
Jennie Bond, a former BBC royal correspondent and a royal expert, spoke recently about what she believed were Meghan's motivations when it came to marrying into the royal family and claimed it was her expectations that caused the rift with the family.

Prince Harry Is Reportedly Desperate For His Kids To Become Closer To The Royals As Meghan Resists
While reports say Harry is eager to return to the U.K. amid his family's health crises, Meghan may not be on the same page.
"I have always held the view that Meghan failed to understand that she would never be the top dog in the Royal Family... or even the deputy top dog," she explained. "There’s nothing wrong with seeking the limelight. It’s just that the Royal Family was the wrong vehicle for her ambitions."
Meghan Markle is an actress, and so it doesn't sound weird to say that she likes the spotlight, but to say that love of the limelight was the main cause of the royal feud would be too reductive. There were brotherly tensions between Princes William and Harry, she apparently had issues with Prince Andrew, and judging from how King Charles turned Prince Harry away during his visit to the UK, the feud is a lot more serious than people believe.
