Kelly Clarkson's talk show has a different dynamic in that the host chimes in quite often with guests, and shares her own stories. In this particular chat with Sydney Sweeney, fans didn't appreciate the approach, and felt as though Sweeney couldn't tell any of her stories.

Fans particularly took exception to Clarkson asking Sweeney about her family traditions on the holidays, only to cut Sydney off constantly, while sharing her own take and experiences with the kids.

She tells Whoopi, "My doctor chased me for like two years. I was like, no, I'm afraid of it, I already have thyroid problems. Everyone thinks it's Ozempic, but it is not, it is something else. It is something that aids in breaking down the sugar. Obviously, my body doesn't do it right."

Sydney Sweeney Did Have A Feel Good Story During Her Interview With Kelly Clarkson

At the very least, Sweeney's interview did have a feel good moment. The star discussed buying back her family's home after a financial struggle forced them to sell.

Sweeney detailed:

“My great-grandma had this beautiful house,” Sweeney explained. “It was a two bedroom, cute little house that they lived in. My grandma was born in it. My mom was born in it, and then as the kids got older, they built on the property another home.”

“And when my great-grandpa passed away and my great-grandma got old, they just couldn’t afford to keep it anymore.”

Sweeney also revealed during the interview that her parents filed for bankrupcy during her youth.

Sweeney then revealed that the story had a great ending.

“Last year I called up the owners and was like, I wanna buy my great-grandma’s house back,” Sweeney concluded. “And it’s really cool too. My granny still lives in the house next door, so, I’m neighbors with my granny now.”

Clarkson agreed that the story was like a "Hallmark movie."
