It seems that political views got in the way of their once-tight relationship, and all signs show this to be a permanent divide.
The girls went from friends that respected one another's differences in perspective and cared about one another's thoughts, to suddenly not being able to engage with one another, and the reason behind this huge gap in their friendship is none other than Donald Trump.
At one point, Corinna's support of Donald Trump rose to the surface, and it was too much for Tana to tolerate.
Tana Vs. Corinna
At one point, not so long ago, these two ladies were buddies. They spent time with one another, shared moments, and seemed to get along just great. In fact, they had a whole lot in common and seemed to be on track towards a long-lasting friendship.
Something changed and the rift between them was evident. Social media saw the two of them trashing one another, and there were even discussions of them taking the ring to face off against one another in a physical match.
The once-friends have quickly become frenemies, but nobody really talked about the reasons behind the change of heart.
Tana has just revealed that she wasn't able to tolerate Corinna's support of Donald Trump, and felt they were too fundamentally different when it came to their philosophies on life. In a recently aired podcast, Mongeau can be heard saying; "She had a scandal for liking Trump, I was trying to help her get out of it and she was like, 'So what about my political views? So I was like, 'Hm, maybe we shouldn't kick it as much.'"
Tana Calls It Quits
According to Tana, she is the one that distanced herself from Corinna and she fully blames political perspectives for their new frenemy status.
She wants the record to show that she couldn't stand to be part of the Trump-love and that prior to this situation, Corinna had denied being a Trump supporter, but at some point that clearly changed.
There is clearly a whole lot of lost love in the air between these two, and Tana expresses that fans shouldn't expect them to reunite. She goes on to say that Corinne had denied supporting Trump in the past, so recent support in his direction was too much of an about-face for Tana to bear.
