“Reinvention is what I love."

“Your average career runs about 30 years, so I’m about five years past that. Clark Gable and Cary Grant were all still doing movies at my age and older, but they generally used to stop a lot younger. Now, you’ve got Eastwood, who’s 83 and still doing movies. Things are a little different now.”

Despite the older age, John admits his goal has remained the same.

Fans Noticed A Change In 'The People Vs OJ Simpson'

It was a surprise for many when John Travolta decided to take part in the 'Amercian Crime Stories: The People Vs OJ Simpson'. Travolta was very involved during the project, so much so that he even helped with the producing part behind the scenes.

"I wanted to be certain that it was going to be a multilayered message. As further assurance, executive producers Ryan Murphy and Nina Jacobson allowed me to have some participation in the production as insurance that the product would not be going in a sensationalist way, but in a way that communicated and enlightened. I never needed to assert that producer card, because everyone was so excellent in their departments.”
