The Office is one of the biggest shows to ever be on television. It has nine seasons in total and has total re-watch value. One of the interesting things to pay attention to in The Office is how many members of upper-level management pass through the corporate offices of New York and the regional manager’s desk at the Scranton branch. Some corporate employees and some regional managers were beloved while others were absolutely hated!
Some corporate-level employees and regional managers lasted for several years while others briefly lasted for a couple of days, weeks, or months. Some members of upper-level management were forgettable as ever, but a lot of them will forever be remembered for their hilarious antics! Continue reading to find out how we have definitively ranked all of The Office's upper-level management members from most annoying to most lovable.
15 Nellie Bertram, Temporary Regional Manager
Nellie Bertram was hands-down the most annoying manager to take over at Dunder Mifflin. She showed up in the office trying to replace Andy Bernard as the manager and offered to give everyone in the office random raises. A lot of the people in the office did not like her and she ended up getting dethroned from her position.
14 Deangelo Vickers, Temporary Regional Manager
Deangelo Vickers is the second most annoying person to become a manager at Dunder Mifflin. He was played by Will Ferrell. It is probably a good thing that his character only had an arc of about four episodes. Deangelo Vickers ended up in a vegetative state after a basketball incident in the warehouse of the office.
13 Charles Miner, Former Vice President Of Northeastern Sales
Charles Miner is third on our list for being the most annoying upper-level management character at Dunder Mifflin. He was played by Idris Elba. He came along and tried to boss everyone around, enforce super strict rules, and cancel Michael’s 15th-anniversary party. His character was super unlikable because he was way too bent on following company rules.
12 Jan Levinson, Former Vice President Of Northeastern Sales
Jan Levinson was an annoying member of upper-level management at Dunder Mifflin. Part of what made her so annoying was the fact that she always demonstrated erratic behaviors, wild emotions, and a major attitude. The day that she got fired from her job, she had a total meltdown and yelled at David Wallace in front of everyone.
11 Robert California, Former CEO Of Sabre And Dunder Mifflin
Robert California was an annoying former CEO of Sabre and Dunder Mifflin. One of the most annoying things he did was try to collect information on everyone’s greatest fears in the office in order to tell a creepy story that made everyone feel on edge and uncomfortable. That was just the type of man he was.
10 Gabe Lewis, Vice President Of Northeastern Sales & Marketing
Gabe Lewis was the Vice President of Northeastern Sales and Marketing for Sabre and Dunder Mifflin. He was also somewhat of a personal assistant to Jo Bennett, and then later on to Robert California. He was super whiny, immature, and over-emotional which is why he is landed on our list as being one of the most annoying upper-level management members.
9 Ryan Howard, Former Vice President Of Northeastern Sales & Marketing
Ryan Howard is one of the most annoying upper-level management people to take over. He started off as a temp in the office and then moved into a sales position when Jim transferred to Stamford. From there, he was promoted to Jan Levinson‘s position after she was fired. He ended up committing fraud while in that corporate position.
8 Andy Bernard, Former Regional Manager
Andy Bernard took over as regional manager when Robert California decided that Andy was the right fit for the job. He was a cool manager at first, but then he ended up doing a few things that were kind of messed up. He started treating Erin poorly as they got deeper into their relationship, leading her to dump him.
7 Jo Bennett, Former CEO Of Sabre And Dunder Mifflin
When it comes to upper-level management, Jo Bennett simply wasn’t that bad. She was played by Kathy Bates. She had short patience for Michael Scott’s antics and she didn’t approve of Michael and Jim sharing the position of co-managers, but other than that, all she really cared about was taking care of her dogs and making money.
6 Ed Truck, Former Regional Manager
Ed Truck was the regional manager before Michael Scott was. We found out in season three that Ed Truck passed away. Apparently, he was decapitated. Michael Scott described him as being a stickler, but Michael actually went to him for advice in season two— so clearly he didn’t think Ed truck was that bad.
