Taylor And Dakota Have An On-Again, Off-Again Relationship
The Reality TV Star Gave Birth To Their Son, Ever True, In March
Taylor and Dakota welcomed their son, Ever True, on March 19th. On Instagram, she shared several photos on the day that he was born, including one of Dakota holding his son at the hospital. It appeared that the two were in a good place during the birth of their child.
After the Hulu series premiered in September, Taylor was asked by Today to give a status update of her relationship with Dakota. At the time, she told the outlet that they were in a "good" place, despite what viewers saw at the very end of the season.
"Things have gotten a lot better. We're far from the end goal because we come in with so much baggage. Now we're doing TV and a lot comes with that. We're in couples therapy and coaching." The reality star also stated that she and Dakota were in a much better place than what viewers saw in Season 1.
However, by the end of September, things did not look good between the influencer and her boyfriend. In an interview with Us Weekly, Taylor revealed that they were "not fully together."
"I would say we're working on things, and I actually have no idea where it goes with us from here. We are not fully together, but not fully done. I don't know what the future holds with him and I."
Taylor told Us Weekly that Dakota was unhappy with how he was portrayed on the show. "He's like, 'I look like this a***** to you while you're pregnant, when that's just not the case of how I treated you the whole time.'"
That same month, Taylor posted a cryptic TikTok in which she is seen crying and dancing with the caption, "Not me morphing into 2022 me," which could be a reference to the year she and her ex-husband gor divorced.
Taylor's The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast mates commented on her post. Mayci wrote, "This new chapter will be better than ever! Lean on us, we got you baby." Mikayla Matthews also took to the comment section and shared, "Always here for you bb."
In a second TikTok, Taylor is seen holding her son while they watch the video of his birth. The video also shows Dakota holding Ever for the first time. She also suggested that they were in a rough patch when she captioned it, "Too triggering to watch the show but I least wanted to see my sons birth."

According to E! News, Taylor and Dakota were back on by October. In an Instagram Story on October 20th, Taylor shared a photo with Dakota at a gun range. In a second post, she shared a quote that read:
"Due to personal reasons, I'll be back with the same man I said I'm done with."
In November, Dakota had also implied that he and Taylor were together. In a TikTok, Dakota is seen in a car with Jessi Ngatikaura's husband, Jordan where they poke fun at Dakota and Taylor's on-again, off-again relationship.
Jessi's husband is seen mouthing the lyrics to the Drake song, "You &The 6." "She said I heard you're back with you know who," to which Dakota replies with the next verse, "I told the girl I'm always back with you know who." Dakota captioned his TikTok, "First thing I get asked when I'm with DadTok," which is a reference to the husbands and boyfriends of the women of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
It's safe to assume that both Taylor and Dakota know they are really confusing fans with their relationship status. Thankfully, fans will get to see more of the couple with Season 2 scheduled to be released in spring 2025.
