It quickly grew popular thanks to the cast's fun dynamic, but over time the viewership waned as the dynamic among the group turned noticeably toxic.

Since the end of Shahs Of Sunset, Mercedes "MJ" Javid has been teasing a new "nontoxic" reality series coming to Peacock starring her, GG, and Reza. Multiple sources have confirmed to PageSix that the streaming service was in the early stages of an unnamed series starring the three reality tv stars, but nothing has been confirmed by the network directly. The star has continued working in real estate post-Shahs Of Sunset, with her success in the field being even more impressive considering she's been working with a restricted real estate license since 2003.

Court documents revealed that when MJ was 18 years old and working as a bank teller, she got caught up in a fraud scheme. Four men convinced the reality star to take part in the scheme by telling her that it would be easy money. Over a two-week period, MJ confessed to depositing over $100,000 into multiple bank accounts without placing a hold on the deposits. She then withdrew the funds and gave the money to the four men in question. She was given the restricted real estate license because the crime was "substantially related to the qualifications, functions, and duties of a real estate person."
