A scene from Deadliest Catch

For the Deadliest Catch series to happen, fishermen have to be able to catch crabs. Unfortunately, rising temperatures have caused cold water crabs to migrate further into colder areas. This means that the cast has to search in mostly uncharted and more dangerous territories to keep the show going.

The Bering Sea is already known for its unpredictable storms and waves, so going further away from rescue services makes crab fishing more dangerous thereby jeopardizing the show's continuity.
