Celebrities are all over the media, from tabloids and reality TV to gossip magazines and websites that tackles everything about them including some crazy dating rumors. A famous person can't go unnoticed anywhere in the world. It's simple to assume that famous people don't face the same problems that ordinary people experience. While many celebrities employ security personnel or have bodyguards on hand, that is not the case for everyone in the entertainment industry. There are occasions when even the wealthy and renowned are targets of assault and robbery.
8 Harry Styles
Harry Styles said he was robbed at knife point on Valentine's Day in an interview with Howard Stern. On his way home, the singer reported seeing a gang of males wearing hoods over their faces. When he stepped out onto the street, they immediately followed. He assured Stern that the other guys had no idea who he was. One of the guys noticed the cord connecting his headphones to his jacket and ordered him to hand over his phone immediately. Not even after one of the men removed his shirt to display a knife did Styles comply with their demands to unlock his phone.
According to Styles, the first thing that came to mind was how inconvenient it would be to lose all the data on his phone—including the photos, videos, and contacts he takes daily and the lyrics he records in his voice memos every night. The mugging occurred two days before Styles' performance at the Brit Awards. He claims he wasn't too frightened by what happened and jokes that it would never have if he hadn't been alone on Valentine's Day.

5 2 Chainz
This story is a little unconventional since 2 Chainz didn't even realize that he was getting mugged and thought everything was a joke when he was held at gunpoint in San Francisco. The rapper and his crew were strolling down the street when they were ambushed by masked men carrying guns. Even though they were joking, the would-be thieves were intent on stealing the performer's signature jewels.
One of his bodyguards reportedly told MTV News that the moment he realized the theft was real, he handed over his jewels, cell phone, and wallet and then ran oppositely. Fortunately, no one was hit by the gunfire. He was in town for the Summer Jam performance hosted by a Bay Area radio station in Oakland's Oracle Arena.

The actor misplaced his flip-flops at one point, but thankfully nobody took them, and audience members quickly located them.

2 Rod Stewart
As reported by the New York Daily News, in 1982, British rock star Rod Stewart was walking to his parked car on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, California, with his assistant and 3-year-old daughter. After being threatened with a gun, the husband of Penny Lancaster gave the keys to the man who had approached him.
If Stewart hadn't helped the thief start the engine, he wouldn't have been able to make off with the $50,000 black Porsche. It is unclear if they recovered Stewart's automobile, but it was not the last time he fell victim to auto theft. A former gardener at the rock star's house stole his Dodge Viper in 2004 and crashed it shortly after.
