Lala told Brittany about the flirting, which obviously led to a fight, during which Jax denied everything and even made it seem like Lala was lying.
9 When Jax's Dick Pic Was Used in Kristen's Sketch Show
During one bit in a sketch show Kristen was in, a blown-up dick pic was used for comedic effect, but it wasn't too funny to Brittany after she found out it was, in fact, Jax's penis. It's unclear how much Jax knew about it, but that didn't stop Brittany from getting angry with him. She also called Kristen out, saying it was extremely "f***ed up" to do that without any warning.
8 When Jax Apologized to Stassi But Not Brittany
During the group's trip to New Orleans, Jax and Stassi share a wistful, if tipsy, moment. Jax gives Stassi a heartfelt apology for the way he treated her (which is alarmingly similar to how he's treated Brittany). Brittany witnesses this and is hurt that Jax has bared his soul to Stassi in this way without acknowledging how much he has hurt and embarrassed Brittany.
7 Jax Body-Shaming Brittany
Are you sensing a pattern here? Once again Jax's bad behavior is to blame for a blowup (or 4). Jax has body-shamed Brittany frequently, complaining to her mom and sister that she "sleeps till 1 pm and then eats all day," and even telling her grandmother that she'd put on weight. He bought Brittany a gym membership she hadn't asked for, and has told her that he'd appreciate if she made more of an effort to look good for him.
6 When Jax Started A Rumor That Kristen and Brittany Hooked Up
...that JAX started! It's unclear why he would make something like this up, but the fight escalates as Brittany and Kristen insist nothing happened, and Jax continues to gossip as if it did. This is horrific behavior from a friend, let alone a partner, and Brittany is hurt and angry as he continues to double down on the claims. YIKES.
5 Jax's Bizarre Relationship With His Reiki Healer
We can't blame Brittany for this one. Something about Jax's relationship with Kelsey, his Reiki healer, just doesn't sit right. The two hug frequently and speak candidly about emotional matters and other life things besides Reiki. It starts to feel more like therapy than Reiki, and then more like friends than therapy. When Jax requests that Brittany leave the apartment during his sessions, it naturally causes a fight.
4 Brittany's Mom's Homophobia
When Brittany's mom attended Jax's roast during Season 5, she heard some pretty untoward things about her now-son-in-law, but the one that upset her most was the rumor that Jax may have kissed another man at some point. Brittany's mom is clear that she has a big problem with that, and Jax and Brittany clash over her mom's closed-minded comments. We hate to side with Jax here, but...we kind of understand this one.
3 Jax's Spontaneous Solo Plans to Move to Florida
In true Jax Taylor fashion, once he got this idea into his head, he fixated on it and became obsessed. After a phone call that vaguely outlined a job in sports and communications in Tampa, Jax announced to everyone that he was going to move because "there's nothing for [him] here." Quite a thing to say in the presence of his longtime girlfriend, who had picked up her life and moved to Los Angeles for him.
2 Brittany's Breast Implants
Fans won't soon forget the storyline wherein Jax buys Brittany DD-sized breast implants. Brittany might have been grateful at the time, but it's unclear if she would do it over again - Jax has used the "gift" against her too many times to count, and often throws in passive aggressive remarks about his "generosity" on top of already nasty fights.
1 When Jax Hooked Up With Faith
The fight of all fights, and you can understand why. Jax, who was batting 0 on not cheating on his girlfriends, went back to his old ways and had sex with another SUR server, Faith, who clandestinely recorded parts of the encounter - undoubtedly because she knew she might not be believed later on. Upon finding out, Brittany delivers a cold, Kentucky accent-laden directive that would become one of the most iconic phrases ever uttered on the show: "Rawt in hell."
