"After speaking with the guardians, I found out how child sex trafficking and kidnappings are so frequent there that they don't even report them anymore, so I knew that I could draw attention to this 'cause I'm passionate about."

"I had been friends with the Safdie brothers (Uncut Gems filmmakers) for many years, and Josh particularly was very enamored by me — he always knew he wanted to do something with me," she said.
