Since the anticipated premiere of "Oprah with Megan and Harry," the tension between The Royal Family and the Duchess and Duke of Sussex has been a topic of conversation. Although the Duchess and Duke of Sussex stated they never actually "left" the famous family, they both agreed to step back from their "official roles." 10 They Could Receive Their Royal Titles Back
After stepping away from their royal duties back in March 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry also had to say goodbye to their royal titles. The couple has and will still be referred to as "the Duchess and Duke of Sussex" but can no longer hold the title of "His/Her Royal Highness." ETOnline states, the pair holds the title of"Royal Highness" however, they are unable to actively use it. Nonetheless, it could be given back to them if they decide to return to the Royal Family.
9 Prince Harry Might Get Back His Military Titles
Prince Harry dedicated a large portion of his life to the military as "He served in the Army for 10 years, rising to the rank of Captain and undertaking two tours of duty in Afghanistan." Dropping these titles was a loss and emotional experience for the Prince as these accolades were substantial achievements. Prince Harry has been granted the ability to wear his medals, but returning to the Royal Family and taking on their official roles again might grant the Prince his military titles back.
